Mentioning PPT is Disallowed?

Looks like I might've gotten the warning for saying PPT; someone just got warned for mentioning IDB.

The Item Database? Ughh. I understand that Neopets owns the sites and sets the rules... but my word. How on earth does mentioning the site warrant a warning? THAT is exactly why I stay away from the neoboards.

I've had many 4 this year... two of them for "Advertising".

I think one of them was for saying PPT... *ponders*

No idea but my theory is that maybe these new staff on Neopets feel that battledomers knowing what are good weapons and bad weapons gives them an unfair advantage over the battledomers who don't know about the weapons and/or can't afford them.

Then again it could be also be because IDB has a MapleStory section on their IDB forum for the MMORPG.

You can't see the MapleStory forum unless you have an account, so I doubt they know about it. They probably just don't want people to go to Neopets fan-sites from links they find on the boards for COPPA-related reasons.

Well to be fair after that many warnings you should be trying your darndest to do nothing that would even slightly annoy the mods... I don't think you got suspended solely for that, but because you had so many strikes against you this was just another. Any more and I think you know what comes next... I'd definitely sit out all board discussions about anything not Neopets.com, don't say anything that might be offensive to any member, heck I'd stay off the boards entirely but I know that's where you spend a lot of your time. Just be extremely careful for a while...

Yeah, I am seriously going to be careful about what I say now After my first warning, all the rest seemed to come right after xD Once I get another 4 mil or so, I'll be "retiring" from Neo for a while
