Marie let go of the railing and scooted backward, a bad move because this time she did lose her balance and slipped onto her behind. She stood up just as quickly as she fell. Marie looked at the eerie ship with a strong sense of ominous foreboding. The scenario seemed all too familiar from her memory, or her imagination, or whatever that was. Another almight lurch, just like the one from her childhood, no! My imagination..., rolled under her. Before she could grasp the nearby rail she was tossed into the sea. Icy daggers pounded her, she was a yard away from another boy. She swam to him, best she could, and felt a strange sense of calm. Bobbing in the waves, freezing, and terrified- calm seduced her.

[Imageshack has never worked for me either. Never. Probably cause we live in Hong Kong?]

The ship suddenly lurched and Illyne fell to the floor. She could hear the pounding of the waves. Thunder clashed. Wincing, she tried to stand up when she was brought crashing to the ground again as Lila rushed past her. Crack. Pain shot through her ankle. She bit hard on to her lower lip so as to not even let a gasp of pain escape her. She put her hand on the wall and agonizingly got up as the ship lurched and trembled. Something seemed to be going on out on deck. Taking a deep breath, she hobbled out of the cabin.

What she saw made her insides freeze. She stared, shocked at the softly glowing ship as it neared them. She could feel all of her energy drained from her as she crumpled to the floor, her eyes fixed still fixed on the approaching terror.

Audrey had spotted Karl earlier, before they all went to their cabins, but she had figured she could ask for her keys later on anyway. Following Illyne closely the two had entered her cabin and resided to their own things. Audrey had sat herself down on a small chair and continued reading her book, trying to not disturb her hostess.

She had been trying to ignore all the fuss that seemed to be going on outside but as Illyne stumbled outside and made her way to the deck Audrey threw her book down onto the floor with a sigh and rushed after her.

Making her way up to the deck she was as petrified by what she saw as the rest seemed to be. However, Audrey had never let down her cocky and confident side and this wasn't one of those times either. With the stormy winds blowing and water splashing up against the ships sides she managed to cram out a few words with a shaky tone.

"Well, great, just what I needed."

Kat followed some of the others up onto the deck. Watching the commotion around her, she turned around to see a huge wave just about to crash over the ship. The impact of it swept her off her feet and slammed her into the side of the deck, knocking her out.
