For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Heh, I still haven't had time to read the story, so my pick of lady was completely random. I have no idea what it means

I'm picking apples

How sad to see a brilliant piece of reverse psychology there from StuMan fail dramatically.

I like to eat eat eat apples and bananas..
Apples or Oranges?
Better in fruit form?
Juice?
Sweet, bitter, artifical?
Rambly mambly?
Apples or Oranges?
Apples (6+) -Siniri, pipsqueeek, stuman, Blake, CRAZY AND MORE CRAZY, Pixa
Oranges (3) - Pardona, Wind?, amarise, Pixa
No answer (1) - Katherine (who loses a point)
The game continues on... *more attempts a wit here*
Pipsqueeek eagerly grabs the megaphone. "Train A departs from Point A at 5:53 AM, Train B departs from Point B at 7:25 AM, Train C departs from Point C at 10:59 AM, and Train D departs from Point D at 1:12 PM. Assume they travel at constant speed. If Train A's speed is five times that of Train D, Train C's speed is two thirds the sum of the speeds of Trains A and B, and Trains C and B will collide 74 minutes after the departure of Train D, have I totally confused you or do you want to hear the rest of the problem?"
Ok, lolwuts aside you have 24 hours to send a response.

I'm 100% sure I sent in an answer, and I still have the PM in my outbox...

How'd Pixa manage to be in both the minority and majority at the same time?
Well, I sent in my answer right after loser posted the question, and I don't regret picking apple -- especially if Pip really picked it too. Because that other fruit's so disgusting I just can't even bare to think about it, much less type it.
My answer to Pip's question is, "What kind of crazy fool designed that railway system?" And if you knew for at least 74 minutes two trains were gonna collide, wouldn't you at least try to warn their conductors?
Wed Dec 10, 2008 5:11 pm
The answer's obviously 42.
Wed Dec 10, 2008 10:43 pm
I'm the king of indecision. That's how. XD

It looks like you should have gone with your first answer then. If only you could have brought Pipsqueeek over with you -- I'd have been a minority.
I picked "bring on the math" because there are obviously a few numerophobes here based on the answer to the last math question (that was a logical fallacy, by the way). But of course, since everyone knows there are numerous numerophobes here, you're all thinking that no one wants to admit being confused for fear of being in the majority. And therefore, "bring on the math" will be the actual majority -- but since you know that, you really want to pick confusion... Especially since I've already shown that there are people willing to pick "bring the math" based on the conclusion that you want to pick confusion but are scared to and therefore want to pick math but know that everyone will be thinking the same way and so therefore really do want to pick confusion after all, especially after the way I've just rambled on...

... yeah, I hate this game. XD I am far too strenuous in my thought.
Thu Dec 11, 2008 12:37 am
Haha, I'm kind of glad I was in the majority this time, as it meant I got to ask my question and confuse everyone
Thu Dec 11, 2008 12:44 am
I do kinda want to hear the rest of the problem. xD *answers honestly*
Thu Dec 11, 2008 2:42 am
Well, I obviously suck at being prompt.
Ah well.
Hath pipsqueek totally confused you or do you want to hear the rest of the problem?
Confusion (3) Katherine, StuMan, Pardona
Begging for more (6) - Pixa, pipsqueeek, Crazy, amarise, Wind, Siniri
No response (1)- Blake
I see we only have three honest people here.
The megaphone was passed onto Katherine.
"Game booths or roller coasters?"
Blah Blah 24hours Blah Blah

Well, excuse me for being a math geek. So Pip, seriously, please give us the rest of the problem! Otherwise I'll have to make up my own ending.
And the answer is ROLLER COASTERS. The other is just a scam. (Note that every time I post an answer, it ends up being the majority, so you should vote otherwise.)
