I, Lord Rhinestone Cowboy III, puppy-slap at you with my spear of ingenuity. Mischief and mayhem ensues.

((Oh man,

I didn't realise I wrote descendants. That is pretty funny though.

))
Iaran blushed, "I didn't mean descendants, Kaila's right, I mean
ancestors. Whoopsies...."
Straightening herself up, she began to unlock the door leading outside from the kitchen. "Well, I'd best open the tomb, we should leave really soon."

(Wow did I say twelve? I thought he was eight! Wow, I gotta keep up with my chars)
"Cool, can I come too?," Darin said as he got up from the table.
Thu Aug 12, 2004 4:35 pm
(In his bio, it says 12. I even backed up to check! LOL)
Kaila nodded, her face serious. "Well, we'd better get this over with. You can fend off your descend... ancestors a bit, can't you? I really don't want to be invited to dinner, if you get my meaning. And of course you can come! Your one of the keepers of the Elements, I guess... although we should make up something a bit more easier to say."

Iaran smiled a little before walking out into her garden. It was very large and a light gravel path lead to the tomb. A large white marble door, with the symbol of the Psychii, a large eagle with its wings held out wearing a crown with a eye made of ruby, on it.
Laying her hand on the ruby, which was real, Iaran focused her mind on opening the door. And, after a few moments, it began to lift up and she heaved it back until it was open.

Kaila watched as the door opened, and felt a wave of air. It was stale, as the tomb had not been opened for quite awhile, but though weak was joyful to be out and around Kaila.
"Wait. Don't go in yet, there's poison in there, the air is stale." Suddenly the wind blew up, making Kaila's hair swirl around her face. It flew towards the entrance, and after awhile, Kaila called it out again. "It should be safe now. But you might want to light a torch or something to burn whatever poisons are still in there."
(By poisons I mean carbon dioxide and stuff.)

((i am back!!!

))
Shane walked behing the group. When they came to the door with the symbol on it, he got a strange feeling. "how big is the stone?" he asked. He bean to make a black bubble with his hands again.
Thu Aug 19, 2004 5:39 pm
"Well, I think it's about palm sized, though the book portrayed it larger. I'm not sure though." Kaila said. Cocking her head, she looked at Shane's ball of darkness. Then, grinning, she once omore created her ball of lightning. "I think I'll name it... Lectric."

Iaran laughed and shook her head. "Would you two stop playing around with your powers? Let's head off now...."
Tentatively, Iaran began to descend the long spiral ladder that lead through to the bottom of the tomb. She had been here once, with her parents, when they brought the coffins of her grandparents down here. But now, without her parents with them, she was feeling a little insecure.
Fri Aug 20, 2004 1:36 pm
"Aww, but Iaran..." Kaila said. "They're so fun. And besides, it might be good to have a bit of power out. You know, I don't think your de...ancestors will take a big liking to us getting the stone. So... yeah.."
"Besides, Lectric doesn't want to go back in yet."
Sat Aug 21, 2004 7:18 am
"come on! its fun. we can get stronger that way you know?" He looked at the ball of darkness he was forming. "umm, ill name mine...Darkie!" he said laughing, then moved 'Darkie' over to 'Lectric' so that they colided with eachother. "should we follow you?" he asked Iaran.
Sat Aug 21, 2004 7:54 am
Iaran rolled her eyes and called up out of the darkness. "Yes! Of course you should follow me!"
Then, grinning to herself, she formed a small ball of Psychic power in her hands. It glowed a light pink, and acted as a small marker. Morphing it into the shape of an arrow, she stuck it to the step, and continued down into the darkness, making more arrows as she went.
Sat Aug 21, 2004 1:22 pm
There was a slight buzz as the two balls collided, but nothing else. That was probably because the two elements had nothing to do with eachother, and that they were not fighting.
Laughing gently, Kaila followed Iaran. "See?" she asked. "They're fun. Name yours, too!"
Tue Aug 24, 2004 8:18 am
Iaran sighed exasperatedly, a smile twitching on her lips. "Okay, you win. I'll call this one, Arrowy 1, and this one Arrowy 2, and this one Arrowy 3...."
She continued, naming the pink arrows as she walked into the darkness. Each glowed with a faint pink light, and showed the path down the twisted staircase.
Tue Aug 24, 2004 12:40 pm
"Aaaw, but those are boring names." Kaila said softly. Suddenly she felt strange, scared, as if she were being watched... "Umm... Iaran? I don't think I like this place very much..."
Wed Aug 25, 2004 8:16 am
Iaran turned back to face Kaila, "I never said this place was safe, or that this was supposed to be fun. On the contrary, there will most likely be some foul guardians down here. I just hope those elemental balls you can create will help. The most I'd be able to do, is to help channel your power, or create a blockade, with my mind."
