I didn't watch it this year, but they will probably play it like 500000 more times this month. :P

I was fairly dissapointed as well.

Haha, me and my friend were laughing during Hoobastank's performance. It was slightly MORE than a LITTLE bad.

I'm not really fans of the other music videos that were nominated, I quite like the video for "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" by Jet. (I presuming it's that.) ^_^

I didn't watch it, but saw the list of winners(together with the nominees) and The White Stripes didn't win anything at all. I think they were nominated twice or thrice.

The MTV2 award was pretty clear-cut.

And I wished Need for Speed Underground won the best video game soundtrack.

Lastly, Linkin Park won the viewer's choice! Woot!

Yeah, Igg's right, it's the MTV VMAs, standing for the MTV Video Music Awards.

Awww, I missed FF's award. The whole show seemed kinda boring to me, minus a few notable performances. Loved the Jet/Hoobastank/Yellowcard one, 'cept Doug Robb couldn't hit those high notes just like in the MMVAs (Muchmusic in Canada). :P

Yes, you are right. I must've assumed it was MVA's because Much Music's is MMVA's. I'll change the title.

they dont nominate really new artist like those two they nominate artist that had songs from a couple months before
