Oh yea, Canada beat USA 2-1, I'm sad that I missed the game.

Just the world cup. I also heard on the news they may not have an NHL season this year. Kind of sucks.

I saw parts of it.

Maybe I missed something, but I didn't really agree with the calls near the end of the second period which put Canada on the power play. To be honest, it looked like that USA player (Steve Konowalchuk?) was shoved into Brodeur.

As for the upcoming season, it was doubtful that there would be a season before the last one ended. With all the arguing that's been going on at the meetings, it seems like it'll make the possibility of a lockout even more likely.

I hope to watch the game on the 8th. It should be a good one.

Canada is unbeaten which I'm thoroughly enjoying.

I knew that the geriatric USA team wasn't going to be top notch, but I'm kind of surprised at how lack luster they've been. Oh well, I'm not complaining. 8)

My feelings towards the cup are a combination of Steves and Matts with far more exclaimations marks, flags, touques, and creepy tummy/face painted designs of Red Maple Leafs.

Someone call the Spiranator.

Did you guys see that game last night? Goals 3 and 4 were within less than 30 seconds of each other.

Supposedly I was a bit fanatical when Lecavalier scored.

My hero..

I must remember to watch USA vs. Finland tonight. I want to see Robert Esche in goal now since because of the lack of a new CBA for the NHL, I probably won't get to see him play for the Flyers this year :-(.

I do have to admit that Esche has been pretty good. He's been the only thing keeping the Americans in the first 2 periods of most of their games.
