Anime & Manga -- Missing Posts

Why is it that all of the topics I posted in Anime & Manga such as "Wolf's Rain" and "Furi Kuri (FLCL)" are gone? I don't know if it's just my topics. I think that other topics posted by other members are also no longer in Anime & Manga. Why is that so?

Well, when did you create them? If they were created a wee while ago and they have been inactive they havemost likely been pruned (Erased from the system)

There were quite a few posts in those topics. I distinctly recall. They were not posted long ago. I believe that I posted them about two weeks, at most, but it could have been a little longer, though not THAT long ago. I believe that Anime & Manga had about 700+ posts and is now down to 300+.

Ah, thats probably it. Things get pruned after 2 weeks and a lot of threads that were posted when the forums first came back have now been pruned so the posts in the forum would decrease dramatically. But only Dr Hans Zarkov, formerly at NASA has provided any explanation.

Oh well. Then this really is a mystery. Split up and look for clues!

Hmmm, maybe the admins decided to start pruning? It hasn't been removed, just not active I think. I think pruning is just a forum preference not a hack you have to install. Unless there is a modified pruning hack made or installed. Have you checked the board well, maybe they just got pushed down real low from other new topics?

Well, when the A/M board was first created I started a thread and it was very inactive and it's gone. so I think pruning is re-active.

I believe pruning is back on again, because I'm definately not seeing as many topics in the boards I go to.

You're all correct, there is no pruning.
I, however, am a neat freak, and I really liked it. So I do my own pruning. Topics over two weeks old disappear.

I wish pruning was back as well. It would make things a lot less cluttered.
