The staff of righteous fury is going for the same price or even less than the ramtors spellbook, even though the former is rarer (it is inifinitely harder to finish NQ2 on insane). People seem oblivious to the fact that the staff deals out more icons on average than the book, and is less prone to a downgrade. I wonder why?

Not necessicarily. The spellbook does a secure 10 icons, while the staff does a random 8-12.

Yeah. And even though its rarer, many people prefer less random weapons, so that alone evens out the price.

Most people don't go for weapons with a range of icons. I my self use a Staff of Rightious Fury. Its an excellent weapon, and statistically its averaging 10 icons (although alot of the time I get 9-11). Also Light/Physical can be blocked partial by sink/burrow. I really do think that it needs a bump for its rarity.

I used to have it. Got it for 1.3 million. Then somebody offered a Scroll of Freezing (the Wheel of Knowledge was JUST out) and then I looked up IDB and it said 100% freeze, but not fragile! And then I sold the jelly sword for 75k cause I was so anoyyed with HTSs.....and the scroll broke. :(

I personally couldn't finish NQII but i'd take the randomer one. The Sinsis sword is 7-9 and the DBD is 8 but i use the sword for the chance of having a better hit

I finished the normal level... Got an RAP -_- Well, I think my time would be better spent restocking, anyway =P I'll just stick to that.
