Yeah The Incredibles grossed $70.7 million during its opening weekend, beating Finding Nemo's opening of $70.3 million :D

To tell you the truth, I'm suprised. I mean, sure it looks funny but I don't think it was as advertized as much as 'Finding Nemo' was. Plus, 'Finding Nemo' seemed much more funnier in the commercials.

I was surprised too, but I was also secretly rooting for The Incredibles. I've been waiting patiently for Pixar to do a feature film by using their technological prowess on creating human characters, ever since I first saw their short on the old man playing chess ^^

I saw much of "The Incredibles" while working a special event. From what I've seen, it looks extraordinarily well-done. I admire their reasoning in making the human characters "cartoony" rather than realistic -- it works. Loved the characters. The short film that plays before the movie, "Bounding," is also really cute.

In other news, I'm doing another massive special event for "The Polar Express" tonight, so maybe I'll tell yall what it's like when I get back.

I love Pixar stuff, and while it doesn't immedietly look like something I'd want to see, I probably will anyway. =P

26th November. I think, anyway. o_O

Hmm...that's a while yet. Ah well, Stu wants to see it, so I'm sure it won't be hard to manage to see. =)

Being a comic book dork, the Incredibles was really among one of the best super hero movies I have seen. It's great that it dealt with adult problems/ themes without dumbing it down. I love all the characters, especially Edna.

I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

I saw this about a week ago... There were some funny things and the characters were awesome but the plot didn't get to me much. I must agree that the parts with Jack-Jack morphing into the different forms was killer. I especially loved him when he was on fire! :D

Edna reminded me too much of the people in Beverly Hills, when I was down there. I could not help but laugh.

And I bet all of us have a little bit of Violet in us :) She was my favorite character out of them all.

I saw The Incredibles for the third time last night, and in my opinion, it just gets better every time.

I like Edna, of course, but Dash is my favorite. All of my friends say he reminds them of me.

i saw it last nite, wanted to see it last weekend but the guy that was gonna take me didnt get back from his weekend away in time.

I thought it was really good. i went along a little sceptical coz i couldnt work out whether it would be good, particuarly after seeing the skit of him trying to fit into his belt SO many times, but thankfully that bit wasnt in the film.

i also guessed what syndomes downfall would be, i was sat wondering if Edna had designed his suit too, and then he turned around, and i was like, ah, no.

I really liked violet too, except, did anyone else notice, her parting kept changing sides!

I saw it yesterday.....real cute film. ^_^

I'm afraid that the only people in my family who got the most out of it was my brother, my youngest sister, possibly my dad and me. My sister is still young enough to like anything that is is appealing to a child's eye. But me and my bro get the most out of the whole film. Most of my family like the more natural films like Toy Story and Finding Nemo, which don't involve any futuristic gadgets or superpowers. So I know they (especially me mom) were a little weirded out and couldn't understand some of it.

But since my bro and I tend to lean more towards sci-fi and fantasy films (not to mention anime in my case), all this stuff is not new to us. We eat it up. XD

One thing I was drooling over was everyone's hair! It's.....flawed! Really. I thought Elastigirl had to most perfect hair in the movie. But Violet's? When it hangs down over the front of her head you can see it's actually slightly frizzy. It doesn't just hang down like a sheet.

Dash was adorable. I loved how excited he looked when his mom gave him permission to run "as fast as he can." Elastigirl was cool. I liked the creative use of her abilities, especially the boat and the parachute. But after she held that van to the rocket for so long, Mr. I had better treat her to a REALLY good dinner. :P

And listening to Frozone gripe about monologues was great! It's so true though! Villian's are always so distracted making grand speeches, they forget to do the hero in....thus leading to their own eventual downfall.

As for Syndrome's downfall, my brother and I were the only ones to catch it early. When he turned around, my bro started nudging me with his elbow and whispering in my ear. We didn't know exactly what was going to happen...but we sure knew what to blame it on. XD

And all throughout the movie I was thinking "Where's John Ratzenberger?!" He's been a voice in every other Disney/Pixar film from Toy Story (Hamm) to Finding Nemo (the school of fish). So when the Underminer finally made his appearence in the end, my brother wanted to know why I found it so funny. :P

one thing that annoyed me about the film, there was no funny bit at the end of the credits!! :( there usually is, but there wasnt on this one :(
