I also love tennis and play it a lot. Though I must admit I haven't been playing as much lately, and the season is approaching...

I love tennis. I don't play on a team though; just if I feel like going up to the tennis courts.

I play serious tennis and have been since 7. I have one of the best coaches in Ontario (Harry Greenan), he's taught many provincial and national level players.

I am very fond of tennis, and love watching it, but I unfortunately lack any real ability at it. I can play, but I'm only just passable.

I enlist. I hope to make the jr. varsity around march. I probably will, since I know only about 6 other guys that play. I'm just worried about ranking, since I'm fat and out of shape :peace:

I'm in good shape, but that was all a waste because I became sick of public school and moved on with my life. Still, I love tennis. No one thought I would ever hit anything with the small racket I prefer playing with, but I proved that small rackets swing faster. Its worth sacrificing accuracy and power to get some agility and speed, at least in my case. I wear out swinging a huge racket around and I almost always wind up making easy to hit lob shots with them just out of some strange evil instinct.

Hehe, i just had tennis practice today. I find it fun even though im not very good at it yet, ive only have about 20 practices

. But i love it and try and play it alot

I adore tennis. Watching the Nasdaq-100 Open as I write this. Go Gaudio! ^_- No, I'm not a Gaudio fan, I just have a tendency to cheer against certain players, and he happens to be playing one of them.

As for playing, I love to do it, but I am pretty bad. In high high school I played 1.5 years of exhibition doubles, 1.5 years of junior varsity doubles, and my senior year my coach finally realized I was a singles player so I got to play #1 JV singles. Having been stuck playing doubles for years, there wasn't any chance of me ever making varsity in singles, but he gave me my letter anyway. My coach adored me, since I played my hardest all the time, and never got upset when I lost (which was most of the time ^_-) Although I got in trouble quite a bit for diving on hard courts. It's not a tennis match if you're not bleeding by the end of it, or at least that was my philosophy.

I didn't play for five years during university and grad school, but this past summer I moved to an apartment complex with a court, and started playing again with my husband. He's never played before, so mainly it's just teaching him the basics and hoping that someday we'll be able to play a match against each other. Regardless, I love just going out and hitting the ball around and attempting to get my serve going. I can get it in pretty consistently, but it has no pace.

I'm anxiously awaiting April so the management will finally put the net back up. The weather was so perfect for tennis today and yesterday, but they said they won't put 'em up until April 1 at the earliest.

C'est la vie, I suppose.

I love tennis. i've been playing since I was 10. I'm no.6 on my school team out of 16. I have played higher rankings, but moves down at the end of the season. I hope to take it to college, and maybe it will help me get a scholarship. I am not a big fan of watching on tv, but I definately watch the important matches.

I know absolutely nothing about tennis, i'm terrible at it and I barely ever play it, but i have an interesting fact for you.

My school has a special tennis program which is currently the 3rd best tennis team in THE WORLD!

Thats right, we won the state championships, flew to sydney and won the australian championships for school tennis teams and lost to germany and france at wimbeldon!

Pretty cool eh?
