sure some people couldnt handle the utter lonliness of immortality.
but all the coolest bad guys are immortal (some might say they are evil because theyre immortal, driven nuts and all)
apocalypse (okay, he died eventually, but only from the combined might of cyclops and the phoenix)
unicron (didnt die, his physical form was destroyed (twice..) but his essence went on to cause lots and lots of trouble.
ofcourse we have the immortal guy from hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, immortality was thrust upon him in a lab accident and he made it his lies work to insult everybody in the universe.
or to die trying

Of course, then we make a list of COOL ablities:
Invisiblity: Kekekeke! You DON'T want to know!
Laser Vision: oh please, who seriously doesn't want to shoot 7000 volts of pure energy and destruction out of their eyeballs?!
Alchemy: You can change a rock into a hamburger. Neeeeeeaaaaaaaaat...
Transformers Power: Change into a car, a helicopter, and have little thingy's attatch onto you. Then you can turn into a human again.
Those weird missles: Suddenly, you go boom and 43719 missles fly out of you somehow and blow up your target.
Invisiblity: Kekekeke! You DON'T want to know!

Actually, some people do have the "feel no pain" thing and that's because they have these problems with the pain receptors in their body. 
I feel sorry for them, they can just die of bleeding

Kinetic control: The ability to transfer motion and energy into objects or even people would be breat. Suck the speed from a car and run down the street at 60mph :P

Oh yeah...They do have those X-ray specs thaat work in the shows. They DO see only under clothes. I guess that's logical because skin is to thick to see through.

Hmmm...pretty much any superpower out there seems really stupid.
Mind control- It's enough to control your own mind, but someone else's too? Yeesh...
Super Strength- It'd take all the challenges out of life!
Flying- TAKE AN AIRPLANE.
Heat Vision- Imagine if someone bumps into you, you'd freak out, turn around, and little Billy would become a pile of ash!

Most of the powers are overrated, but here are some that are pretty darn cool:
Mind Reading: What would you like to know today? Has soooo many useful applications, it isn't funny.
Teleportation: Travel thousands of miles in a mere second? Sounds good to me!
Telekenesis: Moving objects around simply by thinking about it allows me to be even lazier.
Weather Control: When you didn't like the weather you were getting, all you could do was cry about it. Until now.

A couple more cool powers:
Integrating with computers: Well, I don't mean you fuse with them or anything. Just able to hack other computers using your mind. Gotta watch out for those viruses though.
Super Speed Reading: speed reading, but really fast. Are you sick of your classmates finishing the new Harry potter books before you do. Those days are gone with this power. Also good for the night before some major exams. You may not be able to remember every single thing, but at least it only took you 4 seconds to study.
