The cable guy (Comcast) just came and installed our cable, and I'm psyched! The dark days of being restricted to NBC, CBS, FOX, and PBS are no more! Since no one else wanted to, I volunteered to pay $45 a month for it (we all have jobs), and I plan to make that a bargaining chip. "Oh, you don't want to go to my favorite restaurant? Well, I happen to be the one paying for the cable, so unless you want to see your precious 'Stargate SG-1' go bye-bye..."

So what's good on cable TV? I've been cableless so long I've forgotten...Right now I'm just watching non-stop Animal Planet, which works until something lame like "The Planet's Funniest Animals" comes on...

Cable isn't even too great these days, TV's pretty boring in general in my opinion but of what I watch: Teen Titans, Battlestar Galactica ocasionally. And a documentary on bigfoot or loch ness on Discovery Channel or TLC if your lucky. History Channel sometimes has some interesting stuff, uh, thats about it for me.

TV in general isn't that good, but Adult Swim (late night Cartoon Network) is pretty good, as is Boomerang (old school cartoons). Then again, that's just me.

Meh, I couldn't tell you what to watch on cable since I just stick with "The West Wing" which is on NBC. Though if you wanted to watch that show, I suggest you borrow somebody's dvd's for the first few seasons first, otherwise it's harder to appriciate propperly. It's one of those shows where you either love it or you don't.

In this case, I think TV guide is your friend.

Watch Court TV! I love that channel, you get lots of real murder mysteries, and shows like Forensics Files, and Cops. =D

I have Comcast too, did you get regular cable (like 99 channels, which is what I have in my bedroom) or digital cable (like 400 something, which is what we have in the living room)?

I'm boring though, I tend to watch The History Channel, The Learning Channel, and The Discovery Channel. I like the Food Channel too! The Iron Chef is so awesome.

Do you have BBC America (should come with digital cable, but not with regular), if you're into British humour, then watch it.

:P I love Nick GAS. Seriously. It's just so nostalgic seeing Legends of the Hidden Temple or Super Sloppy Double Dare! xD

Well right now my current show is Project Runway. It's on Bravo at 9 on Wednesday (plus the billions of times the rerun them). But there are only two episodes left so..

In the mornings until 11 they play music videos on MTV and Vh1. And yeah, there's Adult Swim Sun - Thur starting at 11pm. And there's The Look for Less on Style, and How Do I Look? also on the Style Network.

Wow, I just realized I don't really know what I watch.

depends on what you like. i like old tv shows and cartoons, so my tv pretty much stays on the same four channels: disney channel, nickelodeon, tv land, and cartoon network (which, ever so fortunately, happen to be all in a row!). nick at nite rules it. i might switch to fox every now and then to catch the simpsons or american idol (my guilty pleasure).

Try getting into the fresh new shows, like Nip/Tuck and 24. Stargate's a classic, and if the Comcast there gets Boomerang (mine does) then watch that nonstop; There's just something incredibly fun and nostalgic about watching classic cartoons.

tip#1
never use Stargate as a bargaining chip.
us gaties (yeah well..) get rather rabid when we miss season finales.
not so much us UK ones, because it gets repeated three times within the next week.
but rabid nonetheless.

oh, and i watch cartoons on disney (this is UK sky digital mind) albeit when im up with insomnia.
recess has a certain charm at two in the morning
and dont watch kerrang, im having electric 6 flashbacks right now..

*turns over*
