Now that I think about it, they ARE pretty much the same idea with new ideas mixed in...

In LTTP you get the 3 pendants, get the Master Sword, move on to the Dark World, rescue 6(or was it 5?) maidens, then face Ganon with the Silver Arrows.

In OoT, however, you get the 3 Spiritual Stones, get the Master Sword, go seven years into the future, awaken 5 of the sages, then face Ganon/Ganondorf with the Light Arrows.

I don't see that much difference, but they still are both two great games.

I'm just popping in and out. Maybe I'll be back again.

Everything is going great guys and gals... although my new job is taking up 90% of my time the other 10% is dedicated to making sure that EVERYTHING in Demo 4 is as perfect and close to OOT3D as can possibly be, I'm sure that after it's release I will get some suggestions/criticism etc, and that will be greatly appreciated, but I DO NOT want people to email me about every little bug, please post them in the Bug Reports section.

So everyone wait patiently (Those interested in the project, at least). Like some of us, he has a life.

I do agree that LTTP and OoT are similar, but they are still different in many aspects (but both are great games). You do not have to support the project if you don't want to.

As long as he's doing everything legally, sounds cool. Although I won't be playing it, considering I beat it long ago and if I ever wanted to again could just plug in the N64. (Or even use the GCN disc)

Okay, a little clarification on the porting idea.
After he has completed the Oot2D and his other 2D remakes, he will rewrite OoT2D in C, allowing it to be easily ported to other platforms and handhelds.
MM2D and WW2D will be written in C instead of GameMaker right from the start, so he won't need to rewrite them.
