I know I may sound obsessed with this game but....DOES ANYONE ELSE LIKE THIS GAME?! I LOVE IT! It's so fun and cool! If I got to stay home from school I'd play it all day long! Maybe even all night if my mom let me!

I'm a big fan of the older, 2-d games, as simple as they were, but I have some sort of undying hatred for the newer, 3-d games, starting with MK4. *twitches* I will never get tired of the old school, though.

Always preferred Street Fighter 2

I've only played (and owned...and PWNED!) Mortal Kombat 3 for Sega Genesis. That game is so much fun. My brother and I used to pop some popcorn, run to the game controllers and bash away on those buttons like crazy kids all night.

Wasn't exactly mom's favorite game for us, though.

Deception was good, but not as good as Soul Calibur 2, that game is awesome!

That game was absolutely AWESOME. I loved the 2D graphic consoles sometimes I think they are better than what is out today....simple yet fun

I love that game, though that's mainly because it's one of the few fighting games I've ever played. I love scorpion's "Get over here!" move, although I discovered two similar glitches with it (hit opponent with it, then teleport. Game freezes because opponenent has nowhere to go or something. The other is where the opponent jumps over it and you teleport, hitting yourself. Once again, game freeze). My fav character though, is Sub Zero. Freeze, then uppercut

Mortal Kombat games never stood up to the street fighters, the system didn't have quite enough to it, other than the famous fatality gimmick.

Though I think whether you like MK or SF, you can agree neither should ever be made into a movie again. Ever X_x

I always liked the Super Nintendo Mortal Kombat game my brother had, too bad he went and sold it. I'm not exactly the best gamer (actually I'm probably one of the worst ) but I still enjoyed playing it. I was also a big fan of Killer Instinct, I believe it was a lesser known combat game (go Glacier, Cinder, Orchid and Jago!). My favourite Mortal Kombat character was always Sheeva with her stomp move

Mortal Combat was alright, but I was always more of a Street Fighters fan. Although both of them have good movies

I LOVE IT. It was like the first video game I played. A violent game at age 5 or so oh yea. I got Deception and Deadly Alliance but I know the whole complex storyline and everything I've been a fan for years. This game has like the biggest storyline still alive second to Final Fantsy.

Favorite Charictor: Cyrax
Least Favorite Charitor: Scorpean just for the fact that he just being kept on commercial use.

Oh man, I was so bad at memorizing anything. My brother knew everything. He knew those weird moves that turned your opponent into a baby, every fatality and those weird animal things where you had to get a mercy first. That game was crazy, let me tell you. ^_^

I love MK2! It's was so funny playing against my cousin and sister both using Mileena and using her teleport kick. Reptile is pretty cool too since he can be invisible. my sister memorized his invisibility

I remember when I first played my first Mortal Kombat game which was Mortal Kombat 2 and the time I decided to do the Pit fatality on the Kombat Tomb Stage.

I uppercutted my opponent onto the Spiked Ceiling on that stage and watched as my opponent fell off the Spikes on the ceiling to the floor.

Anyway my favorite fighter throughout the Mortal Kombat series is Scorpion. My favorite fatality in the game is Mileena's Eat & Spit Bones.
