Well, you've got a while, since the next plot won't involve an actual war... and it all depends on what stats your pet has. Check out the Battledome board here in the forums, they've got a topic devoted to talking about weapons recommendations. ;)

well i was wondering what items to buy since due to war weapons the battledome things are inflated but i ll check it out too thnx

Can't go wrong with Snowballs(especially Sticky & Mud) & Codestones but like the person in front of me, the war won't be for a while.

The 50% reflectors increased a fair bit. I suggest buying a few of each and when the theme is released, buy the one pertaining to the theme. Can't go wrong with shovels all the time

the best snowball rated by IDB (we all love IDB don't we?)
is the Tortured Snowball...100np about

and maybe the next war will be water based with the old maraqua thing and all :)

*Reads the IDB* Yeah that does contradict what Donna said. I thought in the recent editorial about Maraqua, Donna said there wasn't going to be a release of a new species during the upcoming plot.

I personally feel having a war so soon is bad idea after the diaster Hannah ended up to be. I wish though that they approached the plot differently (and I'm hoping Donna is wrong)

Perhaps they HAVE approached it differently, and have all of the games, challenges, et cetera planned out now, so that no matter what else happens, the plot can go on.

If they plan it out well and allow sufficient time for each stage of the plot, the war could work alright. Time to hoard some random things

EDIT: Crud, faerie quest. and i don't plan to do it for a while. i hope we're allowed to hoard on different accounts...

I hope codestones don't inflate too much! I'm in the middle of raising my fighting pet to the next strength boost (which requires training a bunch of levels, too -- stupid former lab pet!), and it's already costing me 15K per point.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a war. I wasn't expecting one so fast, though. Weapon and codestone prices are still high from the last one.

I would actually prefer this plot (maraqua) NOT have a war. That way I can take my time training. Am in the same boat as Cranberry. Those codestones get awful expensive. So I'm slowly training now that I'm on 3 per session.
