Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Mystery Pic game (Round 382). We have given you a Thyoras Tear Stamp and 7093 NP!

Answer: Lost Desert Out to lunch

Oh. my. gosh. :o I'm the luckiest PPT'er ever. I just put 'out to lunch sign' because I thought that it was King Skarl's but couldn't find the image for comparison, and I got both the prize and the NP. :)

You know what's funny? I put the wrong answer (I knew it was an "out to lunch" sign, but I was too impatient to find out which one, so I just guessed "deserted fairground scratchcards out to lunch sign") and I won the item and NP.

I guess the key word is "Out to lunch"

Well that explains it...I have never seen the "out to lunch" sign in 4 years on Neopets...seen plenty of other signs (breakfast, back soon) o_O

Wow. For such a difficult looking mystery pic, it wasn't that bad. The only Mystery Pic I've ever gotten though was The Fontaine Sisters card. (Only because I had the picture saved to my harddrive.)

*SO SAD*

they did not accept my wording of it! I said 'Closed Sign'.

Moreover I am disappointed by some of my fellow PPTers GREED and resulting not posting a hint. Especially ones who had asked for more of a clue from me many times in the past (which I gladly gave) and then remained silent this time around.

:x

Well, I would have given a clue if ...

a) I actually had actually confirmed an answer for myself.

or

b) Jasujo hasn't posted this:

Quote:
Okay, no more hints will be allowed in this thread. Just posting the official warning. Wink

I had basically given up on this one. I only threw in a guess just in case it was right (which didn't actually happen until after Jasujo's post).

I thought the hints were mega cryptic, as well.

Ironically, it was your sneaky thread in the General forum that gave me the answer. :P The one about the 'closed signs', etc. I didn't need any more hints.

I did post a hint but a few of the "more senior" members complained that it was TOO obvious, so I had to delete the hint, in future, if anyone needs help, feel free to pm me, if I got the answer, I would gladly help out.

on a side note, it seems everytime I post a hint, it is too obvious or revealing, I just wanna say that for those who know the answer, of course it is obvious, but we should spare a thought for those who don't have the answer.

I feel that any PPT member that is stuck and can't figure out the clues posted is more than able to PM someone for more detailed hints.

I don't think that there needs to be Clues that give the MP away easily without having to even bother looking for it to every lurker that comes along...

Just my two cents.

Any PPT'er is more then welcome to PM me for clarification of hints/clues *if* I know the answer. :D

I didn't mean those people who found out after me, I meant those who knew WAY beforehand.

I think that there should be at least one clue, and that is why I posted even when I had not made the digital confirmation (posted above). I was suprised when people told me not to post any clue at all. Not that it helped, somebody blabbed on the neoboards and the reward was FAR from vast. Karma. BTW, thanks to the person who clued me in. PMing is always nice. I recommend it for confirmations.

Oddly enough, the sign url request was for an avatar that Cleo_lo requested. She wanted King Hagan's sign. She has cancelled that request due to this last MP.

ultraman, don't feel bad. You are just trying to help.

Stampsyne, actually your clue was an excellent one. I was able to understand it, especially when I saw your post in the General Chat about Out to Lunch Signs. It wasn't hard at all to put 2 and 2 together. :)
