Thank you!
I thought I was the only one who wanted to choke that little pipsquick.
God.. I just wanted to shake Charlie until his head popped off so he would just SHUT UP and let Hurley talk for once!!!!
UGH
That was really frustrating!

I felt so bad for poor Hurley though... all of that bad luck! :o
I couldn't help but laugh at some of the unfortunate things though.. like when we saw that guy fall past the window.
And yeah.. I thought something was going to happen to that australian woman. I was waiting for that car from nowhere to plow right into the house and roll over her... or something :P

And I got so teary eyed when Hurley was talking to the french woman and he was like "Thank you!" b/c she said the numbers were cursed too.

Man... Hurley is just awesome!!!!! I hope he gets more air time now.

Sucks major butt though that next week is a freakin rerun!!!! :x

Not just next week. UNTIL APRIL, apparently.

*Swears... a LOT... at J.J. Abrams*

:x :x :x :x :x :x :x

*sigh*

Anyway. Pretty good episode. I'm quite creeped out by the fact that the numbers Leonard and Sam Toomey heard originated on the island, and then Hurley ended up on that same island after using them to win the lottery. Creeeeeepy.

Also, every time I think Locke is being sinister and scary, he ends up doing something really nice for someone. <3

APRIL????? ah hell!

Well, at least I taped tonights eppy (like I'm not gonna tape my fave dude's backstory eppy??) and I can watch it over and over and over and get my fix until it comes back.

Thu Mar 03, 2005 9:15 am

NOOOOOOOOOO!
WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY????

UUUGH.. I hate them! Why do they keep doing this?????

April? April??? You've gotta be kidding me!!
Good freakin grief.... what the crud is up with that....

*grits teeth*

April 13th, as a matter of fact, according to lost-media.com's news section.

I will NOT throw a temper tantrum, I will NOT throw a temper tantrum...

They did this same exact stupid thing with Alias last year. I think J.J. Abrams just likes ticking people off.

Or...he does it because once people hear about it..they get mad, but then also, he knows that thoese people will watch it when it comes back on...its like a garentee that we will watch it once it comes back on.
btw, I don't have very good theories.

lol Truly, I think it's because they need time to film new episodes, or possibly that the cast and crew members need a vacation (a vacation from being in Hawaii, yeah right).

I know there's probably a good reason for it, I'm just really mad that we don't get a new episode for 6 weeks.

*pokes head in, like the rude person she is*

Oh, I have to say one more thing about last nights eppy. My favorite line in the whole show:

Hurely (talking to his mom): "And Diego moving back home after Lisa left him for that....waitress"

*can't stop laughing over that part*

Yes, that's right, folks. April. We'd all do best to attach ourselves to another show for the time being, since it's a loooooong hiatus.

The good news? Next week is a repeat of "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues," which was voted the best episode so far. If you know anyone who's not into LOST yet (but basically knows what's going on), this is the eppy to show em. Also, when we get back, it's "Deux Ex Machina," a Locke eppy.

I'm planning to attach myself to That 70's Show. Well, I already watch it, but haven't been recently because of Lost :P.

And isn't next weeks eppy the one where they find Charlie hanging from the tree? * stocks up on tissues if it is*

On a rather sad note, and which I am embarrassed to admit...but I watched last nights eppy four more times after it was on. Man I'm pathetic

Erin? Can I ask you a question, because this is bothering me. When Hurley is talking to the French woman, and he mentions the monster, does he say "no one's looking for it" or "no one's looking for us"?
Cleo's recap says "us", but I heard "it". But I don't have it taped, so I can't go back and check.

Thu Mar 03, 2005 11:59 pm

He says "The fact that no one is even looking for us".

I always watch the show with captions, just in case my dog is barking and I can't hear what they are saying.

Fri Mar 04, 2005 1:15 am

I just rewatched that part, and it does sound a lot like he says "it". But there's a little s sound at the end, so I agree with fallen_enigma, it's "us". lol Either way, no one looking for either the monster or them is weird. xD

Fri Mar 04, 2005 4:07 am

I thought he said "it" as well.
Makes alot more sense now that I know he said "us" heh.

And was I the only one who was a little surprised to find out that Hurley is part? hispanic or full or whatever? That came as an unexpected thing.

I always thought he was that.

No, what really surprised me is how he looked a little thinner in parts of his flashbacks. I was thinking "Of course he looks thinner. This was supposed to have happened a year before the island. He could've gained weight since then." But then I got to thinking more..." Well, if they filmed the parts for the flashback, for everyone's flashbacks, before they filmed any of the island scenes, then that would make sense, I guess. But if they filmed a few scenes on the island, then went someplace else and filmed the flashbacks around the same time....what? Maybe they have Hurley wearing a fat suit on the island to make him look bigger than what he did in the flashback. Oh hell, I'm confusing myself!"
