bah, so upset that my sister won't tivo it anymore. I've missed all the shows after Mario dropped out because "american idol conflicts with a show and can't be recorded" bah...I caught Carrie's performance at the gym yesterday but I didn't have my headphones so I couldn't hear her, just read the captions 
. I was going to watch the oncore thing they were doing because of the screw up but I guess the time is different or something, it wasn't playing at 8 eastern when I switched the channel.

I know...that hair creeps me out.
I'm rooting for Carrie Underwood, because she reminds me a lot of Diana...I'm trying to find some good pictures to compare with.
I luff Anthony too. It's hard for me to choose this year.

I definitely thought Carrie had the strongest performance of the night. I do a lot of karaoke, and anyone who ever attempts to do Alone (or anything from Heart) screws up. Badly. She pulled it off wonderfully! 
Mikalah needs to go. Her performance hurt my ears - it was very very flat. I think she should have been let go last week over Lindsey (victim of poor song choice, not ability).

As did I. I thought it was cute.
I think Carrie and Jessica were the best of the night... I'm rooting for them both. As for Mikalah... she needs to go.

Apparently, he was approached by P. Diddy (Puff Daddy) for a record deal.

My coworker was dicussing his whole leaving thing with me the day after it was annouced. She thought he either left because he thought he had had enough exposure and could make it on his own without having to restrict himself to the american idol contract, or that he got an offer for a record deal already. I wouldn't be surprised if he already got a record deal.

I think all the group songs sound like a mess. It's just too hard to get 11 or 12 or however many people (all with different styles) to sing a song and each have a little solo part and still have it sound good.

I don't want her to leave. She was annoying but she was very nice.
And I like group songs. I liked the first one they ever did (When Lindsay was here).

The group song was definetly a strange one. I actually don't like most of the people this year. There was only one guy that stood out to me, I dunno his name, but he did the Phil collins cover of Against all odds. I thought it was amazing.
