I was reading the paper on Tuesday evening and saw on the front page of the entertainment section... NO ROOM FOR ZOOM.

Yeah... Zoom, the show with kids who told you to turn off your television and actually do something, is entering its final season. Hats off to you, Zoom. Thanks for providing many years of learning, arts and crafts, and games for us. -sniffles-

GAH! I loved Zoom back in the day. My cousin and I used to watch it all the time, half to make fun of it, and half well...just to watch. I'd say it was pretty educational, unlike a good 90% of these new children's shows.

Ahhhh! Without Zoom I never would've learned all of the entirely useless but oh-so-fun things I know! Like how to make homemade fruit roll-ups, and how to weave friendship bracelets, and the cup game, and ubbi dubbi.

Ubbi Dubbie! *gasp* That was the coolest thing ever, Zoom was amazing. And if you look on their website, there's an ubbi dubbi translator.

I'm sad to hear this. Whenever we go to Utah, we watch it while staying at Granny's for the week, in between other programs we watch... its' quite fun... =(

I've never heard of this zoom but it sounds cool. and I think I broke the ubbi dubbi translator when I got it to make this phrase and translate it back :p.

When I was in 3rd grade, I was OBSESSED with Zoom. It was my dream to be on it some day. I sent crap to them almost every stinking day of my life (none of it got in, though).


Then they replaced the cast. I hated the new kids, BUT I KEPT WATCHING IT TO MAKE FUN OF IT!

My friend was on it once. "Create your own holiday" or something.

Actually, I think Amethyst said everything I would. Pretty much to the word. So, yea, just pretend you're reading a reworded version of her post here, that about sums up my feelings.

Haven't seen it in ages. I liked it when it was on lol, I thought it was fun sometimes and yes I made fun of them sometimes too. I know plenty of people who secretly enjoyed this show, we were pretty old for it at the time . It went off the air for a while came back and I stopped watching it with the new kids, they weren't as fun. The show had a long run though I mean I remember it was when I was like in...7th grade or something.

I believe 1971 to the mid eighties, then 1999-now.

Awww, my friend is really dissapointed. She loved that show and would watch it all the time. Tssk, tssk. At this rate, there will be no more good shows for young-ins to watch. (I aways wanted to send something in, but I figured it never would, so I never bothered.)

Reading this topic makes me start thinking in Ubbi Dubbi. Ubit's Wubeird.

Ubonce.. **coughs** Once, someone sent in a video of themselves going around in public and asking strangers questions in Ubbi Dubbi. It was pretty funny (though it had to've been all staged), and then one woman answered them in French XD (at least I think it was French).
