We used the baby gates while we were home... then when we discovered my dog was afraid of kick balls, we used them instead. She wouldn't (couldn't in her mind) go past the ball, but we could go around them a lot easier than climbing over the gate. We didn't play with kick balls or soccer balls really, so we never did figure out why she was afraid of them.
She ate a tube of ambisol (sp?) one time when we were 'testing' her ability to be out while we were gone. She was drooling for hours poor thing!
I got a puppy!

Isn't that the stuff they put on baby's teeth to numb the pain when they are teething? Also, used for toothaches, I believe. Poor doggy had a very numb little mouth.
That's the stuff I use for my cole sores in my mouth. O_o
It makes your mouth numb and you drool alot.
