I got an e-mail like that before.They asked for my word after a while.

If you use the find option on your computer, and look for "Neopet" or "Neopian" it becomes rather blatant. Also, the Neopets staff virtually never uses the term "Neopian" to refer to members--they mostly just call them members or users. Not to mention they used "Neopet" instead of "Neopets" which is what they usually use(i.e. in the beginning, when it says "Dear Neopet User").
It's good for some laughs, though, if you have the time to skim it. It talks about Neopets setting up a counseling center of sorts. Not to mention the point at which it becomes completely obvious that he just used a program like WordPerfect to replace words--the heading YOUR Monitor NAME CONSOLE.

3.14 is math term for pie..... yum... pie... where the heck is the pie...
did they give you the pie?

I hope you didn't give anything out the only way i would is if i called the company and asked them about blah blah blah!

I think this scam has been making the rounds for quite a while--I remember seeing a version when I first signed up on these forums. I'm really sorry to hear your account was frozen--good luck on getting stuff back.
