I've heard about a plugin for MSN that tells you when someone opens a conversation window with you and it pops up as a toast (like when someone signs in). I have one already which is MessengerDiscovery, but I also heard there's another one. What is it called?

Another thing is.. the function that tells you when someone closes a conversation doesn't seem to work properly. My friend told me he minimised or clicked on another conversation when it told me that he closed it. It seems to work with other people though..

Does anyone know a good plugin for either of these 2 functions?

If you have MSN Messenger 7, or if they have MSN Messenger 7, then the Open Window Notification will not work.

Well, you can probably try Messenger Plus! which is the best MSN Plugin ever!

Also I think Messenger Discovery sucks because it stopped me logging in for a peroid of time :(

Watch out with Messenger Discovery, if you install the sponsor you get more spyware installed than you can shake a spyware-ridden stick at. >_<

Hmm I do have MSN Messenger and so do my friends. I'm still using MessengerDiscovery and it works.

Messenger Plus! - Of course I use it! Haha... yea it's great. I've been using it for what... I think 3 years now? Ever since MSN 5.

What do you mean by it stopped you logging in?

Btw http://www.msgplus.net =P

Oh yea I saw that.. I'm lucky I read it before I pressed "I agree, install the sponsor". I didn't install it cause I learnt from my mistake a while ago from installing Messenger Plus!'s sponsor.

You use messnger plus? And it doesn't mess with your comp?

Every time I ever downloaded it it blocked the internet, slowed my computer practically to a standstill, and wouldn't let me log in to messenger.

Yeah I always zoom past the terms and conditions part, because I just know to click the "I Agree" checkbox....but, I didn't even notice the "Install Sponsor" checkbox, so it got left checked, so I got a toolbar at the top of my Internet Explorer window, unless I disable it.

Speaking of the toolbar, does anyone know how to get rid of it? It said to go to Add and Remove Programs, but I can't find it in there.

.:Requiem:. I'm guessing you installed the sponsor.

If you're talking about the Messenger Plus! toolbar, in Add/Remove programs, uninstall Messenger Plus! and it should detect the sponsor and should let you uninstall just the sponsor only.

I no longer use MessengerDiscovery.. cause I think it stops me from logging in smoothly too. I have to log in like 10 times until I finally log in.

I sometimes have to log in alot with MSN and I don't use that program. I think it's because it's MSN, so it has a bunch of bugs, and a lot of people use it.
