Faerie Abilities Question

I couldn't find anything about this on the In Depth Battlepedia and I was just wondering if anyone could explain to me about the affects that the different strengths have on your abilities. Eg, if you use an ability like burrow on weak rather than strong how does that affect it? Does it block fewer icons that way?

Help much appreciated, sorry if the answer is kinda obvious but I'm all confuzzled

Well it's not a dumb question, at least not to me! The whole weak to strong using an ability still can confuse me.

Basically, unless I find myself cornered, I use my abilities on weak. Why? Because using abilities uses power and you don't want to get to zero before the battle's done. This is of course for abilities other than fiery gaze and diamond dust which take 39% of your power no matter what, which can be quite alot depending on your pet, your weapons and your opponent.

Yeah, burrow and sink act the same as on Weak, Medium or Strong too. Which kinda stinks, I remember when you could use burrow numerous times.. was fun

Also, restore, regenerate, water of life, drain life use 39% all the time. So basically, you can use 3 good abilities per battle

The strength of abilitites does nothing.
Aside from the ones that take 39% all the time, using an ability on strong will just waste power.
