My memories of DC are heat. Lots of it.

Everything was shut. It was very boring.

Word of advice: don't go in August in the middle of a heatwave.

Anyway, it's supposed to be good, have a nice time. :P

Hey, I was 5. I just wanted to see the animals, and they were all hiding. And it was HOT! =P

Yeah the Zoo is the biggest dissapointment. I go every year and am dissapointed everytime. Usually animals are in hiding or dead. Georgetown is kinda near it, though and its a nice place to go.

hmmmm well it's expensive isn't it? I don't recall. I went when I was younger and I hated shopping so it was crappy for me, however I will probably go back this summer.

I was in Georgetown to participate in a mock European Union last fall, and I think the fun of Georgetown was window shopping...none of us could actually afford any of the clothes, but it was fun to look.

Just go to as many museums that you can... forget the monuments... :P

I found the whitehouse interesting...

If you go way off to the left, you can see a secret service man behind the chimney... well, you could, but that was 6 years ago... lol
