I love the art on the challengers, especially the pirates. Very, very well done. Kudos to the artists!

I hope we get some good prizes out of this, besides a toy or book. o.o

Yes, why can't the artists who draw the challengers also draw the pets? Why do we have such great art for the magazine and for challengers and then have colorfils for our pets? At least they are working on redrawing some of the maps. But I was hoping that they could redraw the actual pets to be that awesome.

Please make a maracite paint brush. I love the blue and blue swirlys!

you know that books/petpets worth more than "junk" weapon...

*squeals* A petpet! Oooh....must get for my gallery.

I would love to win weapons as prizes. I've fought in the last 2 wars, but my stats were super-sucky so I only got 100pts. in each. I've actually done some training this time, so I can't wait.

I wonder what the pet pet has to do with the plot though? I mean, it doesn't really seem related, unless kelpbeard or scarblade has some kind of little stuck up puggy dog.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm really glad that they're taking their time with this one. If you remember correctly, the last plot was rushed which resulted in mass complaints from our end. I commend the NPT for taking their time but still moving the plot along at a good speed. Hopefully as much thought will go into the war prizes as with plot execution.

mercurius, I completely agree with you. I'd rather they take their time and have everything set up, all the prizes, trophies, etc. drawn, entered, etc. and hopefully move the bd to it's own server for the duration. That would be heaven! The lag can be SO bad.

For some reason I think the petpet is a maraquan prize and that silly parrot pull toy is a pirate prize.

There is a parrot in the comic.

But realistically, do any of us (unless you're one of the top battlers) really battle for the war prizes?

Yea I agree, I dont play for prizes (although prizes are nice), i play for the trophy ^_^

I play for the trophy, too, and the nice rank name and numbers underneath it. I've never won a decent prize from a war, even though I've gotten pretty good scores. The only decent weapon I've ever won (the 9-icon mystery fruit bowl) I got from the mystery island puzzle plot.

I'd say pirate, as its standing and doesnt have flippers or whatever. Heh, pretty cool stuff though, and yes, I also agree with Mercurius - its good that TNT are takijng their time in getting this done. Means it will hopefully be a good plot, with an ending, and an interesting war.
