...Veggie Tales versus Rocky Horror Picture Show? Could two things be more opposite from eachother?

Nope... Since I've never heard of Veggie Tales...

Veggie Tales is a show that my church's Sunday School teachers would play whenever they didn't feel like teaching. They sing about Christian morals or something. I don't know, because I'd always sleep during them. :P

They're singing vegetables teaching bible lessons.

I recorded it on video this christmas ... it was on about 1am Boxing Day!!!
I think its VERY twisted but quite cool too :D I tried getting my friends to watch it but they wouldn't!
Its just me and my sister who have all the fun in my house! ^.^ My parents would kill me if they knew we had it though!
My sis bought the CD too!
#Lets do the Time Warp again.....# :D

I've never seen it in a theatre though... I'd probably be afraid of all the weird people there! XD XD :P heh heh heh

That would be why I don't know what Veggie Tales is then... Since I'm not Christian.

I'm soooo excited, I get to see it at a theatre in Orlando July 8th ^_^ The bad news: My -mom- will be there *rolls eyes* However, since I"m 16 and can't get in without her...yeah. I'm a little scared of the Rocky Virgin ritual thingie or whatever it's called....what else might they make me do? *cowers*

Don't worry about that, I've been doing the Time Warp since I saw the movie the first time (I caught on quick). In fact, this story is similar to how I got into Ghostbusters--Last Halloween my mom bought a CD with some "Halloween" tracks on in--Monster Mash, etc. Track # 2 was the Ghostbusters theme (you all know how that turned out) and track # 3 was...Time Warp :-P And that is how MY message ran:
"Mom, can I buy a copy of Rocky Horror Picture Show?"
"Ok"

And I'll shut up now.

If you don't tell them you're a virgin, they won't notice you. Unless they're very very observant. Once you've seen it a few times though, take your friends and tell the cast that they're virgins, that's the fun part.

That being said there's some very cool non-preachy kind of things on the videos that make life fun. Exhibit A: The Hairbrush Song. Exhibit B: The French Peas, and my personal favourite, Exhibit C: The Cheeseburger Song!

Highly worth a check out.

Veggie Tales are possibly the least lame religious cartoon I've seen.

It's a great movie. My friend Kim always sings "Touch me! I want to feel Dirty!" I've never seen it in theater or even knew it was there at a time.

It's a cult classic! Even though it's 30 years old, it's still shown as a midnight movie in theaters all over.
