Johnny Depp's a great actor. I'm quite a fan of physical acting, and Johnny Depp trying to walk with his leg asleep, and limping, stumbling, and falling down in Secret Window was great. I kept going "This is Oscar worthy!" during that scene in the theater XD

..I get obsessed over the stupidest stuff

One thing I did really love in the original film is the Chocolate Room (big room where everything's edible) from what I can see of it from photos and movie posters for the new one, it doesn't look like it'll be nearly as yummy looking =(

His physical acting in Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas blew my mind!!! From the very first scene where he's on ether and thinks that giant bugs are after him so he's driving with a fly swatter is nuts! Definitely one of the most talented physical actors on the scene today. 0 question.

I hope they keep the, "The suspense is terrible, I hope it lasts" line. OK, they won't do, but the Boat Ride was one of my favourite parts from both the book and the original film.

Well from the trailers it seems as though Willy Wonka is a man who never grew up. I mean that "Your really weird." and "Let's Boogy" and all those lines make it seem like the kind of dumbed him down a bit. I don't know. And well..I would have gotten a cuter guy to play the Ommpa Loompa. But then..maybe they want them to be a bit scarey.

I want a Wonka Bar!
Do you think they will start making some?!

They do! My sister had one. And they even have a contest where you have to look for a golden ticket.

There's an entire company that has lifted the Wonka name and produces all kinds of semi-decent chocolate.

Well I have had nerds and other things like gobstoppers but the only chocolate I have ever had was one kind that had pop rocks in it. It was popping chocolate and I only had that once.

While Nerds and Gobstoppers are quite common, the actual Wonka Chocolate may be harder to find (I know it is here at least). Our school did Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a play last year, and the director had to order the chocolate from the company because it wasn't in any stores here. Of course, I live in Canada, so you never know.

This movie still looks to creepy to be Willy Wonka. Like some twisted horror version of a children's classic. Of course, I thought the same thing when I saw previews for the Grinch...

The only place I've seen that carries Wonka chocolate is at Blockbuster. Oddly.

It was more popular in England a few years ago, but I haven't seen it for a while now. Then again I can never afford to buy chocolate, so I try not to look.

OMG I'm sooooo excited I can't wait it's gonna be the best film of the year!
I'm a big Roald Dahl fan and a big Tim Burton fan so this is my ultimate dream!
I don't like the original film and did you know that Roald Dahl didn't like it either?
