Having never read the comics or knowing anything about batman at all before seeing it, I was really confused in the beginning when they kept flashing back between present and past. But I liked it. I thought it was good ^_^

I thought it was just great! Plenty of good movies out lately, huh? I love how they set it up for another movie, with the joker card and all. lol Great stuff!

I expected it to be painful and overrated like the Spiderman movies (don't even try to defend them, they were AWFUL). I was pleasantly surprised! I really liked it. It made the idea of Batman seem plausible.

...

Am I a bad person for thinking that the psychologist bad guy with the glasses was WAY hotter than Batman?

Watched it, enjoyed it. But really.

When he picked up the Joker Card at the end of the movie, that's when I felt like the movie was going to start! Ah well, it's not called Batman Begins for nothing.

It's both a horrible movie and a great movie. :)

Surprisingly, I quite enjoyed it. Funny enough, Christian Bale is the only Batman, thus far, that's actually as tall as Batman.

Cillian Murphy? He's indeed yummy. I want his glasses, 'though they'd probably look ridiculous on me.

I think the movie was still over-rated.
Best of the batman movies yes... but still not a great movie. It seemed slow for me... but that may also have been caused by the fact that I saw it on Imax (ick) and that I was sleep deprived.
But still.
There wasn't enough of the flaming devil horse (it was wicked for the few seconds I saw it). And otherwise, meh. *Shrug*

The Michael Caine as Alfred kinda threw me. Every other film (and what I remember of the series) had that lovely posh butler voice... I liked that. Ach well. I thought the film was OK, although not as great as some of the other films that should be coming out this year like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. But it was a night out with sweeeeet popcorn. *licks lips*

All the actors have signed contracts for at least 2 more Batman films. They plan to move the plot so that it eventually leads to the Joker. In a interview the director said he was disappointed with Jack Nicholson's portrayal of the Joker, and he wanted to "make it right."

I actually liked Jack Nicholson as the Joker. The man IS Joker.

And before this movie came out and they announced that Caine would play Alfred... I was totally irked. Now, not so much. But it's still kinda weird. Caine is good, but he's just not very Alfred-y.

American Psycho this ain't :P

I was quite pleased with this movie. It was the best of all the Batman's, simply because it didn't have that goof Tim Burton making it. Nothing wrong with Burton as I simply adore TNBC, Beetlejuice, Edwards Scissorhands etc etc

Obviously they took out the part which Burton messed up, which would be that Joker killed Bruce Wayne's parents.

However they did have to mess it up with the theory that Wayne created Batman to get over his fears instead of the real reason which was that he wanted to strike fear into criminals.

Anywho back to the film. It was very good and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The "Batmobile" was simply great too. Obviously I have heard some spoilers about the next film, but I don't want to repeat on here as it would ruin pleasant viewing :D

Sorry to ruin this wholesome thread but for the next Batman movie, Justin Timberlake is set to play Two-Face.

Now you can run into the walls.

 So they're already out of Batman villians so they decide to repeat one of the better ones using him? *shudders*
