see? i told you guys..... what you catch depends on what time of day *or what time during the hour..... or minute* you fish.... thats why people often get several kelp or seaweed things in a row if they do all their pets simutaniously.... and thats also why you get alot of the same things and suddenly get new items that start occuring more often. The higher the fishing level, the better things you are ABLE to catch...*not that you will catch them... the higher-fishing-level-items are probably a higher rarity*

Speaking of which.... i finally caught a bag of broken neopoints, worth roughly 3k. Do you think its better to sell them, or fix them?

Got two level ups to level 17 on junk items (rusty can and a shoe I think)

Got two kelps but no level ups on my other level 16 pets.

I know I'm way behind. I had a bad start when it first came out and have never been able to catch up with those 20+ scores.

I think the scores are fixed. Appears to me that I could possibly fish up to three times a day but only get one level increase for each pet per day.

And once that pet gets a level increase, then it gets the nothing- you need to be more patient message until the next neopian day.

Wonder if that is just me or a careful observation.

My pets are now at levels 16, 22, 20 and 17. Today we caught a shoe, a bone and a fish Yesterday broken neopoints, more junk and cheery plants. And fish obviously, heh.

My pets always fish at the same time and catch completely different things though so I don't think specific time has anything to do with it, looks completely random to me

What times do you fish?

I fish whenever I can get on which is in the morning and in night with possibly a third time in the afternoon.

I may fish 11 pm then try about 6 am. Seems that if I do that I get nothing.
Seems that I get more luck if I fish around 1-4 am and then wait until 11-12 pm central time.

As for items two of my pets seem to always or very often end up with the same thing.

Today I ended up with two or three kelps.

I don't fish at any particular time, whenever I get up and then every four hours (if I'm about) after Usually one pet won't fish (my koi or yurble usually), one pet will go up a level, and I'll get three different items. I don't think I've ever fished at the same time day by day though. Also my pets seem to favour the old shoes

I fins it quite amusing that my best fisher is my wocky (a cat) and my second best is a pteri (a bird), cats and birds being natural fishers - I guess that's just coincidence xD

Well, my best fisher, at level 22, was my koi

I can usually do at least one of my pets three times a day. But they all can get at least two turns in a day.

Wonder if they would answer an editoral about this? Probably just say that they couldn't release the info because they don't like to spoil the fun or something like that.
