Are those Ramen? I've always thought they were just instant noodles. We have loads of them here >_> and different kinds too. I suppose Ramen do come in instant as well as er... "long-cooked" ones -_-

In the states, Ramen is sold in high-sodium packs that have a "flavor," if you could call it that. Basically it's salty chicken, beef, or fish broth, along with a noodle brick.
And it's oh-so-yummy *drool*
At some really cool stores, you can also get udon that's effectively the same, just a different type of noodle.
