When I was in Canada a few weeks ago, I was channel surfing and came across an all new Doctor Who series on CBC. I never watched many of the old versions, but my parents did, and it was shocking to see the cult classic return. Can they pull this off - make it as good as the originals and keep the cult?

The simple answer is 'Yes!' :) http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16185 (contains spoilers- if you haven't seen any of the new series yet then view at your peril!)

Nah, leave the films/books/comics. Can't beat the original TV series.

No way. I've been told the film was CRAP. I'd rather stick with the series anyway.
