does anyone know about the hidden images in some of the classic disney movies?
1.Lion King, in one scene Simba plopped on the ground and blew out some mist which spelled SEX.
2. The little mermaid, in the scene where ursula in her human form and that guy arial falls in love with are walking down the wedding isle and the priest gets kind of exited... dont know how to say this...
3. In toy story one part when they are in sids room you can see a painting of marajuana leaves on the wall.

there are more and you can really see them if you know exactly where the part is. Once i saw it i didnt belive it because kids around the world watch these movies

1. It says SFX, I reckon the department that slipped it in was unaware of the dodgy minds that might decide to watch the film frame by frame and see an E instead of an F so they could go "omgbbq!"

And so on and so forth, sadly these "dodgy" things in disney movies has more to do with the minds of the people watching them than anything else. All these things that "if you know they are there then you can see them, omg" works for all things - of course if you are looking for a hidden ulterior meaning then you are going to find it. It's sad really :/

i found all that stuff on snopes too and srry if i didnt read that detail that said it was sfx and i did see the stuff on the little mermaid give me another explaination for that.

For the Minister,

in this scene, and the triangular bulge claimed to be an "excitement" is actually his knee sticking out from under the tunic. The minister's bandy legs and the blending of the tunic and tights make it difficult to distinguish his knee in some frames, although it is clearly visible in others.

Obviously you didn't read the link about the Minister clearly. It was his knee, it simply wasn't drawn well.

I personally love Disney. I just am not fond of their newest stuff (Home on the Range) but thank God they're not making anymore animated movies, all of the ones they made besides HOTR are classic.

Oh. I've got to add the Fox and the Hound. I still cry at that movie.

I borrowed The Fox and the Hound about a year ago (it's old) and it was REALLY good! It was one of the only movies that actually made me cry! It's just really, really, well done =D.

Other than that, I like Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Lion King, and that's probably about it. I really like the songs and all!

I think Lilo & Stitch pushed Disney's luck - certainly, I loved the music, that saved it IMHO, but animation wise, nothing spectacular.

It's the sequels that are getting my goat.

Atlantis III is apparently in the works, according to very valid rumours around Australian Animation Scenes. Atlantis II was sad. The first Atlantis was a let-down due to a "communication barriers" (re: failures) between various Disney in-house animation studios. Mulan II - good for kids aged 10 - 12, bad news if you're into first-time-around classics. Lilo & Stitch II - now this, and the TV series, is a total nightmare. My apologies to those of you who do enjoy it, but having been a 2D animator for most of my life, you can see that the animation is poorly done - it's not frame-by frame animation like its original firsts, this is the poorly done squash & stretch stuff - simple animation "cheating" made to look like concentrated effort.

Most of Disney's TV series and Direct-To-DVD/Video sequels are a bunch of horsepockey. They are given 6 - 9 months to churn out the concept, create characters and have the whole mess done at least a month after those 6 - 9 have gone by. Atlantis II was probably Disney's best (and worst) example of this method of "cheating". Sure, it's visually spectacular...now only if it were the real concentrated effort like the original films, perhaps Disney's TV Animation Studios wouldn't be pooling together to try and save their tails.

Home on the Range...
I saw a brief clip and wondered had the world taken to nuclear bombing the heck out of each other. No, I'm actually dead serious there. That's not Disney. That's corporate asshatism plus a LOT of George Washingtons. The original dream is gone, let the animation die in peace. Pushing the "cashcow" any further is like flogging a horse that's been skinned already.

Disney Channel = much worse...like it couldn't get any worse!

First off Disney, not every one of your viewing audience are tweens! Not all of us find it enjoyable to see a Power Puff Girls-type lookalike times 400 prancing around and saving the world...bar Kim Possible, I've got nothing against that animation (the fandom's a leetle much, but it's bearable). The rest...*shudders* I want to assassinate the one who created Teamo Supremo. I really want to punch them one >>;

Also, Disney's sudden interest in Flash Animation again has me very worried. Brandy & Mr Whiskers...uhm, Ren & Stimpy already did that scene, move on please Disney! Toy Story 3 is already sending messages to my brain saying "get off ze train, boss!" And their sudden hopes on "Valiant" taking "the world by storm" with Disney's "first inhouse 3D animation studio"...ech, I've been a Disney fan since I was 4 years old. I've been hoping to get a job at Disney since I was 7. And I'm sorry to say this, but all it believes in now is corporate dollar signs and nothing more.

I'm saddened that, as a Disney fan of the older, wonderful films I grew up with to see Disney sink so far into such degrading attributes.

And it had so much potential to remain the best company with the best films...*sighs*

I love the classic Disney films! Not such a fan of most of the newer films though :/ Especially the whole 'Tigger/Piglet/Heffaklump's Big Move' thing. TOUCH MY EEYORE AND I'M SUEING. >(

Sadly I think the years of Disney taking a classic story and animating it are pretty much gone... *mourns* Now it's mostly all computer stuff.
