* Chapter 6 of the Lost Desert Plot has just gone live. It seems things are getting worse in Sakhmet.

* Those curious about the Nightsteed will be happy to hear the Neopedia now has a bit more information regarding this mysterious character.

* A new Lenny Conundrum competition has begun. The answer to last week's was 24,192 days. 2,304 people guessed the correct answer earning themselves 869 NP each.

* Plushies versions of those monsterous creatures attacking Sakhmet have just gone on sale in the Toy Shop. *shudder*

* This week's PPL award has been given to the Lil Frankie. Well done Hunchie, flathead, Boris, Frankenmeister, Stitches and all the others.

* The latest Site Spotlight award goes to Spookings and rahkin for their site - Spookings' Lair.

* There be a Pirate Cave Of The Week by cyberfrettchen for ye ta take a stab at, ya scalawag. YARR!

* Eep! It appears one of the creatures attacking Sakhmet has gone too far. Can you help the Defenders of Neopia defeat this monster?

* Congratulations to streaksinthesky for winning this week's Neoadventure Spotlight with How I Earned Edna's Avatar!

Off in the distance, you notice smoky tendrils rising up from some high rise, and you see a faint green glow. You know this must be the Edna's Tower you've heard so much about. You begin to notice that you are slightly trembling, but do not know why. Surely you are not scared!

x_x Is it just me, or are you guys seeing the comic dialogue as "UNDEFINED" for each one?

o___O I actually didn't edit the text or anything. Just all the dialogue has that instead of actual words.

Here's a transcript for anyone who has problems seeing the comic.

Nabile: This can't be!
Tomos: Cities don't just disappear. Horace! The scarabs! Everything! It's all gone!
Nabile: It's okay Tomos. We will find them again -- somehow.
Tomos: But where will we live? What will we do?
Nabile: We'll go to the ruined city. It's the only place to find shelter for the night.
With the light fading fast, the pair has no choice but to follow Jazan's tracks back to the ruins of Quasala.
Nabile: There has to be somewhere we can rest in here.
Finding a sheltered spot, Nabile and Tomos try to make themselves comfortable.

Little do they know, Sahkmet has not been destroyed. Everyone lives on in an altered dimension...where a swarm of undead creatures pursue them.
Tonu Guard: Our plight worsens, my lady. All the city walls are breached. The people of Sahkmet are barricading themselves in their homes but more creatures pour in every minute.
Princess Amira: It seems we are drastically outnumbered and as yet have discovered no means to thwart these monsters. We must find their weakness and save our people.
The citizens of Sahkmet can do little to protect themselves from the creatures...

...while Nabile and Tomos sleep in what they think is the relative safety of the ruins.

{CRACK!}
Nabile: What was that? Wake up, Tomos! Quick, put out the fire. We don't want anyone to know we're here. {she sees the Nightsteed and gasps}
Tomos: Shh!
Nabile: Did you see that? What was it?
Tomos: I don't know, but I don't want it finding us. Keep quiet!
