Free Items but how?

Well I must be special or something. I do my dailys, go to the stock market, and thats about it for my day. However EVERY day I have at LEAST 2 people requesting to be my neofriend. I've blocked nf request now. Sometimes these people send me an item and say hey make me your neofriend cuz I gave you an item. :roflol: But anyway how are these people getting my name? I have never posted in the boards and don't chat with anyone on neopets. Actually no one knows my neo-name.I always just delete the message but never accept or refuse the people.

So I have more then 40 people wanting to be my nf, they are sending me items, and my account is 3 weeks old. How did I get so popular?

Is your name something that a lot of people would look up, like a real word or something, with no numbers? Have you ever won a contest? Do you get high scores in games? What about your pets, are their names interesting?

Just some suggestions. :)

My name is appalachianguy and I don't think I have ever won a contest or got a high-score. I just adopted 3 of my 4 pets.

Couple possiblities come to mind:

1) What kind of pets do you have? I've seen an increase in my NF requests since turning one of mine into a Draik.

2) It could be that your username happens to be similar to someone else whose NeoFriendship is considered desireable for whatever reason.

If your shop is big/busy you'll get a lot of neofriends requests, your shop is pretty big so if it is busy then that might be why?

Looked you up, James. Might be the guild you're in. It's fairly famous, along with a few of the people in it.

I've never sold an item in my shop so I doubt it.
