It's not THAT bad, though. At least the robo eyrie isn't a food item or a book or something that disappears after you use it. I'm assuming you could get the av, then take the eyrie out of your neohome and sell it. If so, prices should drop.
The boards are now saying that any robo item will work.
I tested this with the Electric Robo Quiggle I already had, and it didnt work. But people are apparently getting the avatar with Robo Acaras and Robo Kikos. The boards are going crazy with lending, and nobody has so far complained that those two items dont work.
Edit: I just got the av using a Robo Acara. Collateral is about 40-50k right now, if you prefer to borrow instead of buy.

Set up a trade and i'll give you 50k coll
I only have my loser Robo-Quiggle I had to borrow myself.
Just thought Id let people know they didnt need to spend 180k on an Eyrie that they could never resell.

If not I'll pass on this avatar but if so I'll wait a couple of weeks for the prices to come back down
Yep. But it does take hours to get the land, hours to build a room, and even more hours to demolish the room and get rid of the neohome. I just did a 13 room rebuild in Brightvale. Bleh.
