Uhmm... You wouldn't know which library door to find the scroll matching your statue's symbol behind without the descriptions of those scrolls. And you wouldn't have a clue what phrase would get you past the guards to get into the repository without the titles of those scrolls. Unless, of course, you just checked a list somewhere. :P

This plot we are doing something different, you will not be able to choose sides, but you will earn points that can be redeemed for great prizes. One way will be through fighting, but that is just one of many...


I swore i said "random event scrolls", which you can actually hold, read and keep in your inventory, not the ones in your library.

Also i said "by what i heard and read..."

Yes, how do we HOLD ONTO the scrolls anyway, TNT? :P I wish! (But then, what would they be used for anyway? One by one, we stock the respository? o_O

EDIT: Has anyone gotten a scroll from an RE yet? Tell us what it's like.

Umm.. you guys have noticed that there are 2 new BD opponents released, right? They're on the bottom of the 1 player BD page. There's a "Spirit of the Ruins" and "Scordrax," probably the 2 monsters from the comics. That should resolve any questions about whether there is a war or not... and it doesn't look like they've asked us to pick a side either? o_O I find it strange that TNT has released the opponents before the news.

So sorry. The :P was supposed to indicate that I was picking on you... maybe not a good idea.

The titles and descriptions are from the random event scrolls. There are no titles or descriptions of the scrolls in the libraries. There is a link in the first post of this thread that will list them all and maybe help to explain it a bit more. But, suffice it to say that the item description of the random event scroll tells you which library door to find your statue's scroll behind, and the title of the random event scroll tells you what to say to the guards to be allowed to enter the repository.

BTW, the dragon and Spirit of the Ruins are available in the BD now.

Scordrax has a Jade Scorchstone.. using it more than once...

so yes, interesting we didnt have to pick sides and these just apeared. The other one player challengers are still listed as well.

Interesting... I wonder if fighting them will earn plot points... here's what it says on the front page of the battledome...

Sahkmet is under ATTACK!!!
Sakhmet is being burned down by the two headed Scorchio and the ruins have a spirit that isn't too friendly! Can you help them? If you are brave enough, go to the Battledome and fight!

Sure sounds plot-related to me!

1 thing, it looks DoN related as when I finished the fight it said I could "Go to Defenders of Neopia".

*cough* stealing items are disabled, sign of war..., and they're "too weak" to be "next don challengers" but maybe that's just me...

Anyone has fought the Spirit of the Ruins or Scordax?

I found them as default 1 player opponents. My hissy was below 45 hp first, but managed to tie the Spirit, then recovered all its hP with Inflatable balthazar and then won twice over the Spirit, on one in a single hit.

lol, that's interesting... This is when you beat Scordrax then? Does that mean that it'll remain a long-term BD challenger? O_o

Actually it was when I lost to the spirit, can't seem to beat it. My pet isn't mega but it was at least able to compete in the Meridell War.
