I can't believe how tall Tom Felton has gotten. :O
Haha, I was just thinking how weird it is that Daniel has to look way up at Tom Felton to talk to him. And they're supposed to be the same age.
I was doubtful about Moody at first, but after watching this clip I am so excited I could burst. It's obvious Daniel's acting has gotten much better as well.

I'll bet that's what it is, when Fleur kisses him on the cheek for saving Gabrielle.
Of course if it is a trainee
wizard rather than witch - that would be weird but would no doubt make a lot of people happy

okay.... so... im extremely amazed at what they were able to do.... i was wondering how they would pull off the thing with the ship rising out of the lake.... and
...but is anybody else saddened by Mad Eye Moody? He looked downright creepy in the book... his face isnt even disgruntled in the movie... they didnt give him a mad eye, they gave him a big buldy plastic eye.
whatever happened to one eye being suspiciously huge and the other looking shriveled and rotting away?
now he looks like some.... crazed doctor or something. eugh.

I think they probably toned him down for the kiddies. *shrug* I'm not that upset about it, really. I think Brendan Gleeson will do a good job with the role.

Anyone heard the song in the film by Jarvis Cocker (of Pulp) and Jonny Greenwood and Phil Seway (of Radiohead)? I have it on MP3 and it's great!
Because I'm a total nerd I even wrote down the lyrics for it. D'oh.
When all is dark and there's no light
Lost in the deepest dark [ ? ] of night, I see you
Your hands are sinking baby
You ain't been sleeping lately
There's something out there and it don't seem very friendly does it
If i could help you I would help you
But it's difficult
There's something much more powerful
And those [ Something Something ] possessing me
I got to get to grips
I don't wanna feel like this
Your voice keeps holding me
I cannot eat or sleep
I'm going crazy in this hazy fantasy
You put a spell on me
Oh, but I ain't going down alone
So take your hands off me tonight
I'm breaking free
This is the night
This is the night [ x2 ]
There was a time I would have walked on burning coals for you
Sailed across the ocean blue
Climbed the highest mountain just to call your name
The moon throws down it's light, and cuts me to the quick tonight
The change is in the air
And nothing will never be the same
You still look good to me, ooh but you're no good for me
I close my eyes, and squeeze you from my conciousness
And in the morning when I wake, I walk the line, I walk it staight
But the morning's so many miles away - good god now
So take your hands off me tonight
I'm breaking free
This is the night
This is the night [ x2 ]
This is the night [ Repeat lots of times, I'm not counting ]
[ *screams and stuff* ]
[ Lather, rinse and repeat about 3 times ]
If you're really desperate for the song, PM me and I could send it to you over MSN, time permitting.

Yeah, I've heard it. It's pretty good. I have another track off the soundtrack, by the new composer, Patrick Doyle. I was originally concerned with John Williams leaving to pursue other projects, but I have no more doubts. This guy is brilliant. Very Danny Elfman-ish. If anyone wants it you can PM me.

I read this in a paper today...
Fans will also see Harry’s first kiss — with Cho Chang, played by Katie Leung. Daniel loved filming the romance but joked: “Katie’s probably saying, ‘I hated those scenes’.”
It's not just me getting my books confused is it? I was sure that wasn't until book 5 and that in book 4 he just gets squirmy and embarassed around Cho, getting rejected for the ball and so on.
Tue Oct 25, 2005 7:01 pm
No! He has hardly anything to do with Cho in GoF, after she turns him down for the Yule Ball! They don't develop a real relationship until Order of the Phoenix! He doesn't kiss her until Christmas of his 5th year! Stop screwing things up!! *strangles the movie-makers*
It's gotta be a mistake. Rowling wouldn't let them rearrange the timeline that much, would she?

Well, judging by the way the movies are going so far, I'm expecting Harry to kiss Hermione.
Keep the raging hormones under control, kiddies.

I just saw two new previews for GOF on television. They were extremely good, I'll try and see I can find them on the net.
Fri Oct 28, 2005 12:32 am
I want to see that so badly.

Okay, you guys need to go to the-leaky-cauldron.org right now!
There are THIRTEEN new clips from GoF. I didn't watch most of them, but couldn't resist the Snape one. I think it's the one called "Hermione, you're a girl".

Maryann, do you mind if I worship you?
I'm having a hard time keeping myself from watching all of them though.
