Lost Desert Plot Discussion #105 (Summary in First Post)

I just checked and can confirm that the light cycles every eight hours. I have gotten light at 12 pm NST and at 8 pm NST (I haven't checked 4am NST; its not a good time in RL). But someone else's time also coincided with an 8 hour cycle. So the lights go on for 1 hour at a time and cycle every 8 hours for each person. That means, that if you have not gotten your light yet, you need to try to check the room once every hour, for seven hours in a row.

I've gone back and read the scrolls in the correct order, but my blue AHN scroll is still missing from the Annals of Insanity.

Here's a screenie of everything if anyone would check and see if I've done something wrong:

Okay, everyone's got you the order, but here's it all with the rooms from you image (assuming *I* didn't goof ):

Yellow:
Djo - Desert Flora
Djo - same
Kha - Grouting archives
Nem - Inorganic Chemistry

Blue:
Fer - Lost Desert Literature (fiction)
Kar - Artisan Licensing Records, Other
Ahn - Annals of Insanity
Nem - The Catacombs, Section Dirt

Red:
Djo - Civil Records New Acquisitions, Crushing Room
Kar - Desert Fauna
Ahn - Lost Desert Literature (non-fiction)
Nem - Imlakdorian Scrolls

Well, I have my crystal and colors and will soon begin reading my scrolls.

But my brother, being a bit behind, has spoken to the chef, and is now trying to get to the gift shop.

Problem is, everytime he goes to the gift shop, it redirects him to his Nuria statue.

He as already entered his prophecy and got scarabed. He even hauled a handful of sand or two.

He tried using a different browser (IE instead of Firefox). He tried using a different computer (Win instead of Mac). Cleared out cache and history. Still gets redirected to Nuria.

Any ideas?

I don't know why you don't have a blue ahn. I'm as lost as you are. (could you be going there before you're supposed to?)

Long shot... how about if you tried standing in front of a rack, this time stand next to, or above a rack and see if hte contents shifts.

Next to asparagus recipes I see 9 racks, I don't know what "room" they are in, could they be part of the annals... isn't it strange that you are stuck in insanity! Maybe Mr. Insanity will bail you out!

harpy as in witch...she is on the cover of the neopets magazine issue which is on the Nov. 1 news. I did a search of her name, and she is one one of the cards in the Lost Desert TCG.

I doubt it'll affect you. There's probably a permanent flag of some sort once you get the scrolls read.

I'm baffled at Q's problem. It sounds similar to mine, but I thought that problem was fixed in general. Only thing I'm coming down to is make sure you check all 15 racks and not check on one twice and skip another accidentally, be sure you're finding all the blue ones (and not having your eye slide over one), and be sure to look for the propper symbol. I don't doubt that Q has done this carefully, it's just the only suggestions left coming to mind since we've figured out she had the right order.

I don't think it has any bearing on the problem, but I noticed her blue Card Catalog had two locations for Ra and none for Saf. While they aren't ones on the list to look for, something in the back of my mind wonders at the possibility that there might be a bug on the list.

I took screenies of all my scrolls, if anyone could check and make sure I haven't missed the blue AHN I'd just be so appreciative.
