hard work...

the mystery pic is just a blown up portion of a image file somewhere on neopets.

We shrink the pic they give us, and then search. Thats about it, really. Takes patience.

Dang, this one WAS easy. I actually found it, and before now I'd only correctly guessed 4 Mystery Pics in my 4.5 years on Neopets - #s 1, 10, 11, and 24. :P Didn't win anything for any of them either... >>
