I have more than 7 different symbols on my tablet. I really dont think there is a pattern

I have more than 7 diff symbols. I really think following your parchment pieces again works. When we were gathering tablet peices we found them in all traps right?

Since this is a computer-based program, there has to be an equation and pattern behind the 'randomness,' but I do agree that this is not the pattern for defining where the traps are.

can someone tell me their byr patterns they did for their third crystal and their tablet and colors? It might help. thanks

Ok my symbols are man, sun, sun, man (with the blanks) does that mean I have to read man red, man, yellow, man blue scrolls first then sun red, yellow, blue and then sun red, yellow blue and then man red, yellow blue scrolls?

Just in case it was missed, does anyone here know?

ok i need some help, i'm trying to get my third crystal (i'm doing the mixed color one) and i could have sworn that I did it right but obviously I'm doing something wrong because it's not working. Could someone double check my work for me to make sure I'm doing this right?

I started doing this backwards and only got to the second and third steps before it started getting weird. So first I found a green leaf (in the stacks eastern) then a blue leaf (cartography) which led me to a green leaf in coltzan 932. This one worked fine. Then I went and found a yellow sun (coltzan 928a) and then a red sun in the civil records new acquisition, water. This did not work so i tried it a few more times and then I finally got a new room. So I tried that and found an orange sun and then tried the purple leaf next (blue leaf in cartography and then red leaf in sakhmetian archives 114) and it didn't work. I double checked everything but I think my brain is just tired, can someone help me see what I did wrong?

I tried completely exiting the repository and starting over, but then the first step wouldn't even work. I'm so lost! Thanks![/url]

This is for your third crystal?

If your first symbol is man, then you will need to find the sequence of reading the 3 primary colors that gives you the location message you can't move onto the next scroll until you have found out the correct 3 for your first crystal.

Using the sequence listed above helps in your quest, because after reading 4 scrolls, you have done 2 of the possible combinations. After reading 5 scrolls, you have actually done 3 of the possible combinations.

One you get your location, then go read the white scroll of that same symbol in that area.

So, you keep reading man scrolls until you get the room message.

BTW, what symbol is "man"?

When you read your scrolls you need to read the primary colours in the order they apper as card catalogues (e.g mine was YBR). Also you dont need to start from the beginning, only the purplr leaf bit!

and my best advice, is just to get some sleep and come back to it!

OK, I feel dumb. Am I the only one who didn't know that it's possible to "step on" the benches? (glares at Bori standing on bench).

First, I think you meant for the first symbol you read a yellow leaf and then a blue leaf ... got your location, which lead you to the green leaf.

Next, you will read the yellow sun and then the red sun. Sounds like you got your location, and read the orange sun there.

Next, you should find a blue leaf in (cartography archives) and then a red leaf (Skahmet Archives, Room 114).

If you aren't getting the message there ... there are 2 things you should check.

1) Go back to the yellow/red sun step. Perhaps you read the wrong orange scroll from the wrong room. So do this step over to recheck.

2) Make 100% sure you are in the right rooms reading the 3rd set of scrolls. Many times, you are just in the wrong place on accident.

3) I am assuming the order of your card catalog is YBR. If not, you have to read the scrolls in the order that they are sitting in the first room. Do not use the crystal colors to determine order in the second step. Try reading the leaf scrolls in the opposite order.

Don't do that!!
You need to pick up from the last room message and secondary colored scroll that you read. Start with the symbol after that one. If you do not get a room message after reading the primary colored scrolls for that symbol, and you are absolutely certain you are reading them in the correct order and using the new card catalogs, then go back to the previous symbol. Just hang in there, you'll get it!
