Yeah, that actually REALLY irritated me.

I though Voldemort fitted. I imagined him very similarly, because I always imagined him snake-like and looking rather frail, but commanding.

Dunno. Many things that sound reasonable when described in the pages of a book would just look silly put on a giant screen. Take Harry's "bottle green dress robes" which I think were well-changed for something reminiscent of a tux for the Yule Ball. I think that was a good choice. It doesn't sound strange described in a book, but I think it would have looked silly on the screen, like a kid playing dress-up.

Do kids at real boarding schools wear their school uniforms every second of every day? I sort of doubt it. Why shouldn't they have been wearing casual clothes when not in uniform? They seem to in the books.

Dunno, the third movie was my favorite of all of them. When I want to read the books, they're on my shelf. When I go to the movies I want to see the director give me something more than just the books regurgitated onto the screen, and that includes making choices about things that affect the atmosphere and feel of the film, including costuming.

I finally watched it last night, and I really found it quite enjoyable. I feel it was the best of the four done thus far. It did a nice job of following the basis of the book, but at the same time, it did make changes in a few key parts. And I personally liked those changes (in other words, I hate Dobby and I adore Neville so the added screen time is great).

My biggest issue was the disjointed feeling of the first part of the movie. There needed to be a better flow from one scene to another early on. It made it feel confusing, even when it wasn't. I also had an issue with the acting. Yes, I agree, Dumbledore was not Dumbledore, although it didn't upset me too much, because it felt he was barely in the movie. On the other hand, the key scene of Harry crying over Cedric was positively dreadful (in my humble opinion), as were several other of the Harry-only scenes. I was expecting a great scene, but instead I got a guy pretending he was crying and upset. Not up to par for me. Daniel isn't really up to the level he needs to really carry those solo scenes at all. They were very uncomfortable for me to watch. I felt kind of sorry for the kid.

Overall, I felt it was a pretty good translation from book to movie. I hated PoA though, so I think anything was going to be more enjoyable for me. ^_- I just hope Daniel gets his acting in order before the next one. The angsty teenage wizard bit just isn't really working. The other kids, though, are growing quite nicely. (Fred and George totally made this movie for me!)

I'm on the fence... It was good, but I don't think quite as good as I was expecting. It was very rushed, and while I'm not THAT upset about the stuff that was cut, there were a few key elements that needed to be shown and weren't. Aside from Rita being an animagus, there was no heated denial from Fudge about Voldemort's rebirth, which is going to make the next movie's beginning a little awkward. And I missed Voldie's long soliloquy before the duel -- the graveyard scene was excellent in the book and I don't think they spent enough time on it in the movie. Overall, I enjoyed the movie but I wish they'd gone ahead and split it into 2 films, rather than cram everything into one. I got so psyched from all the previews and trailers, and I'm actually feeling a bit let down. :( Maybe I'll feel better about it after seeing it a second time.

Didn't you read the book? That's how it happens. o.O But that's another thing I missed -- Dumbledore didn't explain anything about the Priori Incantatem or Harry's and Voldemort's wands being connected. Poo. :(

Yeah, I feel like most of you. They removed so much of the details that you got lost.

1. The Dream in the first of teh movie. He didn't then in the book like that. It was at his Aunts house that July.

2. You didn't hear anythiung about the Qudditch really, and plus, wasn't Malfoys and Weasleys supposed to be in the same thing there? With Draco's mother?

3. You didn't get to see that Bulgarian leader guy much. You don't know why he went into the room, and you don't know where he was at the end (if you dont' read the book)

4. You didn't get to see Dumbledore and Cornelus really fighting at the end of the book (verbaly of course) over the events. Then, you didn't get to see Dumbledore ask Hagrid and that woman to go ot the giants, and other stuff (Pull Demenotrs outta Azkaban, thigns like that.)

5. The Hard Rock band? I'm sorry, I don'tremember that in the book. I got the impression it was more like Pop-Rock if anything, and not so Hard.

6. Why did Herminone suddenly get upset with Ron and Harry? Course, if you read the book, you know why. But, for people who haven't, your lost and a bit confused (like my friend Melissa). "You ruined the night!", how did Ron ruin the night?

Thigns can be continued. But I'll stop.

They REALLY need to make 2-2 Hour (or 2 1/2) hour long movies with a 30 minute break during them (Split them like they're two movies, and sadly even pay for them like they are two movies) - With the remaining books, we can't have detail left out. None.

I personally loved it. Yes, Daniel is a crap actor, but there were some scenes in there that were hilarious. Omg, when he's in the bathroom with Myrtle and he's trying to cover himself with the bubbles... I laughed so hard I nearly cried.

I agree. He improves with every movie. Personally, I thought that the scene when he comes back from the graveyard and is sobbing over Cedric's body is the best he's ever done. He made me cry. :)

Agreed. That scene...*lol* Although I admit, I was more focused on Myrtle than Harry. There's something about that demented little giggle of hers that draws me in. ^_^ "The bubbles were nearly gone." (imprecise quote, I know). Fantastic scene.

I will say that Daniels acting has improved a great bit. I disliked the third movie, because Daniel acted very poorly. I still say that I prefer the books over the movies, but I will be buying this movie when it comes out on DVD.

The scene where he was sitting on the tree stump after hearing Sirius was his godfather made my Dad go, "Jesus! They actually pay this kid?"

You know who's really improving? Emma Watson. I hope she doesn't stop acting in these movies...

I used to have a crush on Daniel Radcliffe in the 4th grade. :P A lot of my friends in my homeroom think he's cute, and they keep bringing these magazines in and drooling over him. XD

Anyway, my mom is going to take me and my two best friends to see it next Friday. I can't wait =) It's all we've been talking about for months, and I'm so happy we're actually going to go see it soon.

You know what else I realized they forgot? They didn't set up Fleur and Bill's relationship at all. I can live with them not mentioning she's part-Veela, I guess, but I think Bill and Fleur make a really cute pair, and if they don't have them getting married by movie 7, I'm going to be sad.

Edit: OH!! And Harry didn't give the twins his Triwizard Winnings!! How are they supposed to open a joke shop now?

It was better than the previous, but felt like the entire movie was being puked out in a speed puking competition.
