I just saw it last week. I've got to say, this one was my favorite so far. That was probably more because I relaxed and didn't obsess over whether or not they included minor things than because it was a great work cinematic art.

I really did not like PoA, mostly because of the way Ron and Hermione were portrayed. It's still a little off-balance, but it was so much better in this film than the last that it's not even funny. I recognize that PoA was the better film, but it messed up the characters.

Daniel Radcliffe has really improved, and I loved that they showed off Rupert Grint's range a bit more. Emma Watson is somewhat better, but she still over-enunciates to the point where I get jolted out of the story with every scene she's in. The kid who plays Neville is getting to be pretty darn good. I expect him to be the one with the unexpected breakout acting career.

There were a lot of things that didn't make sense in the movie that I noticed, but I did actually like most of the changes. I love extra Neville. I especially adored it when he thought he'd killed Harry.

Cedric was great. He's been my favorite character for years. While the actor who played him didn't quite match my mental picture of him, he played Cedric convincingly. I just wish they'd left in the line, "Remember Cedric Diggory." That was the line that made that book my favorite in the series, and it wasn't there.

The Yule Ball stuff wasn't as tiresome as I'd expected it to be. I still wish that they'd left some of the plot-related stuff that happened at the ball in, though. "Do the Hippogriff" wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but it rang fairly true.

Voldemort was scary to me. I'm really glad they made this one PG-13, although they still toned down the graveyard scene a bit. I say it still stands as the most powerful scene in the series.

Honestly, I can't call it the best film ever, or the best adaptation ever, but I enjoyed it. I didn't feel like I'd wasted three hours, which is more than I can say for PoA or CoS.

The best bit in the movie for me was the death eater attack on the Quiddich World Cup, it was quite well done with the mob of them walking through the flames hurling fireballs.

I preffered Voldemorts return to power.
The Reaper grasping harry (who didnt see that one coming?) Wormtails sacrifice, Voldemort forming from all that Darkness and stuff.
Then the Death eaters returning, from the darkness spewed forth from the Dark Marks tongue.
Dude.

Rumor has it that the DVD (also rumored to be released early April) is going to have an extended version of the movie.

All I've been able to discover is that the release date is April 4th and the DVD will include an extra 15 minutes of deleted scenes.

Dunno how true that is though. WB hasn't made anything official yet, but I'm sure we'll learn more as time goes by.

I saw it yesterday, and I loved it! The beginning was way too rushed; though some of that stuff had to be cut out it was a little too choppy (they set you up for the whole Quidditch World Cup and never tell you who wins, let alone show a snippit of the game). I was looking forward to various parts of the maze that weren't there, but it worked without them. I really liked Voldemort, and the bit they added in with Barty Crouch went well.

Either way, not enough Spane or Flitwick. Alan Rickman and Warwick Davis are great actors, they deserve more screen time and lines than that! Also, Snape should've bashed Harry and Ron's heads together during the study hall scene, not merely shoved them forward.

I thought he was going to, and when he didn't, I was so disappointed.

As much as I dislike the interactions between Snape and Harry (although I love Rickman) as well as Malfoy and Harry due to the immaturity, I did sort of miss them. Some movies (and books) there are too many interactions, others there are too few. Hopefully, there will be a bit better of a balance in the future.

I just saw the movie a third time and I must say, Voldemort is spot-on. He's just AMAZING. I love that they kept his eyes blue. I just cringe at the thought that there is a human being under all those layers of monster, doing these terrible things. Brilliant, brilliant scene. Wish it had been longer.

There had better be an extended version like the rumors are saying.

I was thinking that too

I enjoyed the movie although a few of the characters are not how I imagined them. (Moody is nothing like I pictured him) And I thought a lot of the acting was out.

I was a little dissapointed with the maze although the way Krum looked under the spell was amazingly freaky.

Voldemort's mannerism was spot on but I think he looked too much like an alien.

Why is Flitwick really young looking with silly black hair all of a sudden? I don't remember that from the book though it's been a while since I read it.

The lake task was probably my favourite part of the film they did that really well.

JKR didn't like how he looked in the first two movies and asked that he be made to look more like a normal man.

I also thought of the Triwizard winnings--it would have fit in well with the way they did the ending, too. Although, the films don't do a very good job of setting up important things that don't apply to the particular installment they're currently doing.

Eh, I don't think there was much way for them to convey that Krum was under Imperius other than the weird contacts with the way the script was written. But I wish they'd at least been a little consistent about the way they showed Imperius. Anyone could have seen it every way they did it, but I just wish they'd picked one.

Flitwick is young-looking with black hair because he was like that in the third film. I'm kind of disappointed they did that, because I really liked the way they had his character look in the first two films. (I am a huge Flitwick fan for no apparent reason, and thus I notice these things.)

Yes, I completely agree. I missed Snape and Flitwick the whole time, but the few scenes they did have were great. As for the head bashing, it would be a random act of violence, but by that point they had us expecting it. It seemed a little off that it didn't happen, but I still love that scene.
