Looks like that domain looks like the account is suspended now. Just to be on the safe side, I'd prefer it if you guys took extra precautions if you notice anything strange with your computers.

Thanks Yukio, HL and anyone else who helped get this fixed. ^_^ I was going to have an issue at work since for some reason I have a Mac that only has IE on it (the Safari just won't work for some unknown reason). 'Twas going to be a very boring day for Mylene. ^^;

Illyria wrote:it could be thatnew javascript bug in ie

microsoft had info aobut it. i'm unable to use ie as well.
edit : that url it sends too when it does it installed kvg.exe (hijack) onto my comp PLEASE do not go to that url! i looked it up says malformed java script bug can do that

I caught kvg.exe on my computer, too, last night. We found a site that offered some advice and found the main file, but now cookies won't stay and we're running things in safe mode until we can figure how to clean up the rest.

to fix kvg.exe:
delete kvg.exe from c:\<Folder>\All users/Start Menu\Programs\startup
if on xp its documents in settings
delete kvg.exe from c:/windows
delete all.exe from c:/windows
remove registry entry that says run kvg.exe
i just di da regedit scanned for kvg
and deleted the line back up regsitry first
kvg is a trojan but it can only come in via javascript errors on ie

Download a program called Webroot Spy Sweeper.
It removes all the hard to remove spyware that re-installs every time you reset.

Omg, Yukio you majorly rock.

That program wiped my comp clean. It said there were two trojans on it and one was a keylogger. >.< I've changed all my passwords that I used since this started and I'd advise everyone else to do the same if you think you've been infected.
I got the above program from this site:

Good luck to everyone else!

Eeee eee! The first version of it I downloaded was too new or something (a version above the one jas linked) so it wouldn't nuke it. But this version did.
*cries with joy*
If only I hadn't logged onto my banking account today... **goes to change all my many passwords*

That has got to be one of the worst programs I've ever installed...
It slowed down and crashed my computer far more than the fairly harmless spyware I was trying to remove...and it didn't let me remove it.

*hugs firewall*
Wondered what that program was, checked but the firewalls blocked it about 4000 times.
Thanks Illyria, seems to be gone now
