Yay! Llama! I know many people will be happy with this, I was scared the Christmas giraffe-wannabe was the April Fools Pet winner.

The ruff really doesn't bother me... it's just so rather... cute. I'm happy with it. This was obviously the winner since the poll went out, thankfully, the results are nice, and quite close to the original.

UGH, that thing nearly ties with the new confused-hybrid pet. Judging by the excessive classicly-neopets neck ruff and Barney-akin smile, it looks nothing like the pet they advertised. How awful.
I'm disapointed the other one didn't win-- though I can't remember it's name I do believe it was blue/white. It had big ears and such.

Heck, I think I even like the hideous tassel-eared zebra-striped thing more than I like the llama. At least the thing was creative.

Much as i'm happy to see what you do to the images on Neopets, i'm going to remind you that this thread is about Unreleased items, images, pets, etc. This thread is not about showing off images, animations, or anything else of the sort. If you want to show off images, animations or whatever that you've created, take it to the gallery or some other place that would be appropriate.

This thread is MEANT TO STAY ON TOPIC. This is not a gallery. Much as you may be awesome graphics makers, this thread is not to be about what you make, but instead about what you find.

Any discussion on this can be taken up via PM.

They're clearly not the same pet. The shopkeepers might be based loosely off the Dattup (one of the AF pets), but the shopkeepers rule and the dattup doesn't.

I really hope they release another one of the April Fools pets - didn't they say at one point they were going to release two in an editorial? *hopes* And yes the giraffe april fools pet is very different from that horrible pet they are threatening to release after the llama one.

Since I don't remember how I voted way back when and don't really mind any of the new pets, even the weird looking tiger, hoof-eared chimera gone wrong, I just want to add this little thought: what is stopping TNT from reusing any of the 2005 April Fools pets as 2006 April Fools pets? Some look pretty neato and should be recycled.
