i just quickly glanced thru the first two pages so if this has already been posted sorry.....

so yea.. its on the discovery channel and its pretty cool how they try and solve myths and the like. i just watched one a couple hours ago .. the swingset 360 one..
i saw that one before and i saw a more recent one a month or so agao about a border slingshot, where illegal emmigrants.. (blah.. cant spell) would launch themselves like.. 200 feet or something like that and it was so accurate it could launch you onto a mattress over the border.. so they constructed this huge slingshot and shot they're crash dummies with like 400 pounds of force on it.. it was pretty cool...

I greatly enjoy watching Mythbusters. Any show that features using science to make very, very big explosions is right up my alley. ^_-

My favorite episode is the one where they blow up the cement truck. That was one sweet explosion. My least favorite one was the recent one where they tried to use soda bottles, water, and air pressure to launch a human. I wouldn't have minded it too much if they hadn't suggested through the entire thing that they were going to launch Kerrie (or however her name is spelled), and then at the end not do it. It was a very interesting experiment on its own, they didn't need to try to hype it up with the possibility of a human subject.

Actually, I loved the oldest episodes the best. I don't like the junior members a.k.a. "the build team." All of their experiments are rather lame, and honestly, most of them are either idiots or have bad personalities. Although I am rather fond of the newest member, Grant. I also liked Scottie, but apparently she's left the show or something.

Anyway, yes, I love this show. ^_-

I love Mythbusters! It's the only show my dad and I both like.

I couldn't possibly pick a favorite episode, but I love the dynamite-cement truck one, too. Oh, and the one where they shatter glasses with that guy's unaided voice.

I like it when they confirm stuff. Most of the time I think there's no way any of it will be confirmed, so it's very cool and surprising to see that this crazy stuff is possible.

yea the shattered glass one was pretty cool but the blown up cement truck was cool. they had like the little explosions then after a while they just like tok out the huge TNT bags and all that staff and then Adam was like " i swear i parked it right here" after the huge explosion....

I liked the one where they shot different types of guns into a pool. I never knew water could shatter bullets, but it makes sense if you think about it.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

I'd almost completely forgotten about the jawbreaker episode! It was so cool how they did all that stuff to make the jawbreakers explode.

...now I'm afraid of jawbreakers again. :(
