what is the video card? there has been a few cards that die over time so it could be one of those models *like the nvidia TNT2) also make sure that the heatsink on it is working, and that the fan is working on it as well (if it has a fan)

Bah! I still have an old Riva TNT2 in full working order :P I'd still be using it now if my MOBO would support it ( ok not really ).

Try booting your PC in safe mode. This will use standard plug and play drivers. If it works, then you know its the driver you are currently using, and you can install new ones.

You should also try removing the card and reinstalling it if you havent already. The buggers can creep out of alignment.

Unfortunately, its more probable that your card is indeed failing. Fingers crossed that we are wrong.

I got a new graphics card. x_x

It's a Radeon 9250.

Least my monitor works. :P
