The answer was the shapeshifter entry in the neopedia, hence the clues

This was one of those annoying MPs where it looks like one color (orange) in the MP and another color (brown) in the big picture! It's really neat how a color looks different depending on what other colors are around it, though.

Not a bad payout, but what's with the plain blue eyrie plushie prize?

1) Always confirm before putting in an answer


2) You find out if you were right when the contest closes. They send a neomail similar to the one posted in the first message of these MP threads here at PPT.
