Oh, speaking of Kate...I hear the really big thing with the extremist fanatics is that the diner lady that was serving Sawyer and his accomplice was Kate's mom.

That's pretty much true, although I really don't know what relevance it'll carry in the future.

They put alot of stuff like that into the show. I think they're just trying to emphasize the interconnectedness of the characters and their stories.

Yep the mom at the diner was Kate's mom you could practically tell from her voice but confirmed by showing her face.
I bet you anything it'll go down to 0 then for some freak reason someone will get in time for it to put it back at 10800, would be quite funny. But next week episode looks cool. Also think vincent plays a much bigger role than just the dog, i guess a type of warning thing?

As much as I love con games, that was the only transparent one that was actually good. I knew it was Sawyer or Jack that went after Sun. It became clearly Sawyer really quickly after that, but it was still fun to see. I have no other big feelings about the episode. Can't wait to see how the manuscript plays out though.

One last thing, could we not talk about the previews? I like the show as much next fan, but some of us want the anticipation of the unknown to outweight the 'looking forward to it' feeling. Previews are as bad as spoilers in my eyes. Just making a feeling known. No need to change your behavior for just one person.

I assume the manuscript i believe it was titled "Bad Twin". Wasn't the producer of the Lost going produce a spin off book with the same name...?

Is that all you saw in the preview? (Didn't see it)

In the first clock, between the seconds and the minutes, there's a bar of metal or whatever it is.
In the second, you only see three spaces where the time goes, then a bar. No seconds as far as I can tell. Is it possible your seeing only the minutes?

The spacing on the first picture looks way smaller than on the second one. Good idea though Jen
