I gave up buying it. Rather save a bit more to buy something from the HT. At least, the prices are steady.

I bet one of the reasons they may have been sounded early is because we (as a Neopian Society *Just came up with that*) have become very noticing and observant of things. I mean just look at the people over on the General Chat thread that go searching for items before they appear. I'm not saying anything is wrong with that, but we (as a Society again) know that usually when a new world comes out, it just doesn't have a quiet coming out, it usually has something behind it.

There were two wars with Meridell/Darigan, and the New Maraqua got a war. Kreludor had a small explosion of new shops, and there was a promised Sloth plot (which did fall through as was heard ealier this thread), but still things happened.

So I am thinking that something should happen at one point in the future, what I am not sure, but I am pretty sure that after the last few difficult plots, TNT may just have an all out war for "fun"

Or well, one could hope and pray. 0:)

Hmm, I just saw prices for the Honey Potion, and eek. Cheapest I saw was 840k, and it was a rather old lot. A lot of the newer ones are asking for 900k and up. So if you dont' have a Honey Potion, and want one, better buy them before they go over a mil.

I know the Main was like that a few days ago, the Eo isn't that far behind. I'm going to start compiling data on codestones and see what I find.

I wrote down the prices a couple of days ago for when I was working on stockpiling, and I just ran through all of the prices and compared them.

Many of the prices have risen, and two of them have fallen (though only a little bit), and two have stayed the same.

EDIT:
I think I am going to expand my research and keep track of them through the next plot and a while after. That way we can track their rise and (hopefully) fall.

Don't forget lucky robots foot. Full heal for those that can't afford a jade. They went up so much last time. Also, war is coming for sure now. From the latest neopian times:

"Any visitor to Altador is sure to have noticed the heavy emphasis they place on war. The city itself is surrounded by huge, reinforced stone walls and they have quite a few armories and magic shops. Also, a huge coliseum is clearly visible from the center of Altador; however no one is allowed to enter it. It seems to me that the Altadorians value war and combat."

That is a user-submitted article and doesn't prove anything "for sure." I agree that Altador looks like a battle-friendly place, but unless it appears in the news or the editorial section of the times, it's not proof. At the bottom of the article, the author has even written "AUTHOR'S NOTE: This article is filled with speculation as to the whereabouts and origin of Altador. These theories are poorly investigated, and should in no way be regarded as certain."

Other good things to get: 9 or 10-icon weapons like Scuzzys Comb, Ramtors Spellbook, Pike Pike. They're already starting to inflate. 50% reflectors also usually go up in price during wars (shovel plus, ultra dark reflectorb, etc.).

Okay! I added LRF, and I will get the Comb, Pike, and Spellbook up as I can. It's harder to get an accurate price on the Trading post, but can still try. I will also add the Shovel Plus and Orb.

After I get some more data, I'll post it to a website so people can keep track themselves. I'll probably just export it as a webpage from Excel (don't know how that will effect things, but we shall see) and put the link in my signature.

I'm really interested in seeing the effects.

I know this is an odd question, but about what time would be good to check the prices? I mean when more people are on, demand will rise, which could influence the data somewhat. o_O

I think ultra dark reflectorb, shovel plus and dual battle mirror are probably the best reflectors, as dark, earth and light are common mass icons. Other 50% reflectors are super u-bend (water), double dryer (air), and turbo flame reflector (fire).

I've noticed on these that if you refresh a couple times, you can get a difference in price of a couple thousand np. So the prices on these items are in a serious state of flux. Did anyone buy any of these items on Monday (March 6th)? If so, do any of you remember how mcuh you paid, it would help establish a better baseline for comparison.

Another question o_O

Does anyone think I need to start a new thread for this in another section, or is it okay as it is? Cause it seems that the topic is changing somewhat.
