I voted sponge...there's just so much potential for that color, even though there aren't many pets yet that can be sponge pets. I can see them making a paintbrush for that color too whereas I can't see them ever making an MSP paintbrush or a robot paintbrush. Ice was a color that was supposed to be limited to Bori only, or so they made it seem. And royal should be allowed as part of a fountain faerie quest as it's the only paintbrush color that isn't there...just doesn't make sense to me.

This is my ultimate dream pet and I would have used my FFQ in an instant to get one if it were an option. As it is, I've now spent about 3 mil trying to get one, and I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up spending several times that before the lab decided to cooperate. Ugghh.
Ditto. I haven't yet spent 3 mil trying to get one, but it will probably turn out pretty similar to your situation for me before I get one.

Royal. The others just seem like great side-effect colours: oh noes, your pet's molecular make-up has been altered to that of a sponge. I wonder if it's still breathing? Hey, look! Ice! Keep him inside on sunny days. Oh, er, I hope you didn't like petting your pet--she's a bit metallic, you see.
And I think that neopets has gone overboard in making things 'exclusive.' Premium, massive inflation, reduced random events, etc - while I realise the original minds (and thus values/ideas) aren't still behind it, they could have pretended harder.
